Watching her cut almost seems like a lesson in geometry, she makes sure to follow my wishes, and the results have always been more than 5 stars in my opinion! Plus she’s a lot of fun to talk to. As always the service was great and has always been good which is why I return. However, I just want to say, when you are being serviced and your technician and fellow employees are speaking in their native tongue (which you can't understand) and they are laughing it becomes an uncomfortable environment for the client.

I had my hair done at Studio 84 One for my wedding celebration dinner. The stylist was very efficient and the result was great. He advised me to wash my hair in advance to save time because I was under time pressure and updo took only 35 minutes for my mid-length hair. Highly recommend.

Karina Ponomarenko is the absolute BEST!!! I recently moved to Chicago and was nervous to try someone new, but I have had the most amazing experience. Karina is so kind, flexible with scheduling, and easy to reach out to. I DM her on Instagram and the appointment is booked within minutes. Her new salon is beautiful with a great location, as well. I definitely recommend Karina and will continue going back to her for all my hair needs :)
