Shereese is awesome! I got a sew in from her and it’s been one of the best I’ve ever received. It’s helped with the overall health of my hair as her braiding technique didn’t case any tension/breakage. Highly recommend :)

I had such a great experience with Jahlena! My haircut came out excellent, and she really took the time to explain what I need to do to get my hair back healthy and strong again. She educated me on how often I should come in for trims and gave honest, helpful advice about maintaining my hair properly. Her vibe was so friendly, welcoming, and professional, and she made me feel completely comfortable throughout the appointment. I truly appreciated how knowledgeable and caring she was. I’ll definitely be taking her advice and giving braids a break for a while so my hair can regain its strength.

She was great. I will definitely return. My hair was in bad shape after braids and she gave me a nice cut and style that I'm comfortable with. Extremely patient. I didn't really know what I wanted, but she gave me the perfect style that looks good on me.

Raven truly exceeded my expectations with my daughter's Crochet braids! Everywhere we go, she's receiving compliments, which has really elevated her confidence. It's heartwarming to see her so happy. Best believe we will be returning for future styles!

Loved my time with Liv! I had just taken out my braids and needed a good deep conditioner, silk press, and trim. She took great care with my hair. The silk press came out perfectly straight and smooth, and she was friendly and professional throughout the entire appointment. She even gave me tips for maintaining the style. Can't wait for my next appointment.

Melissa is absolutely amazing!!!! I removed my braids after only having them in for a month- between the braids and having gone without a trim for an extended amount, my hair was in horrible shape. Melissa could have chosen to simply rake through my hair, instead she was gentle and thorough and truly took her time. I learned so much about my hair during my first visit with her. I’ll definitely be back three months from now for my trim. I highly recommend Melissa and have nothing but great things to say about my first visit to the salon.

I walked into the salon today 7.14.26 extremely nervous because it's been over 8 years since I have done my hair professionally. Jahlena was amazing as my hair stylist and Stephenie was an absolute sweetheart as the assistant. Jahlena was attentive and honest, steering me in the right direction. Stephenie was sweet, kind put me at ease (she made me a cup of tea 🙂). I definitely recommend H2 Salon if you are looking for a professional, clean and respectful hair salon. Since I now reside in California and visit NY twice a year, I will be getting my hair done at H2 Salon whenever I'm in NY. ♥️♥️

I've NEVER written a review in my life. No cap. But Desiree's work at The Way inspired my first. My daughter's hair was always this dry, clumpy mop that took stylists 10+ hours to braid—most visits took two days. Our first visit to The Way? A haircut and 2½ hours later, we finally got to celebrate her natural curly hair. Curls just popping and locking. Beautiful. For parents with mixed kids struggling with their children's hair—this place should be shortlisted. Highly recommended and will definitely return. Thanks, Desiree and The Way!
