I went to Kreative Manes for the first time today. I needed to find an available appointment asap and through internet searches found this salon. I’ve been looking for someone to cut my hair for several years and I’ve tried many hair artists in San Diego and have never been fully satisfied. In less than an hour I had the BEST experience with Mike. He listened to me, and gave me exactly what I wanted. I loved my hair so much that I cancelled an appointment I had made for my daughter at a different salon and booked an appointment for her with Mike next week. HIGHLY recommend. 🖤

An absolute 10000/10 experience with Makayla! I was nervous going in and requesting for short bangs, but Makayla was so amazing at being reassuring and checking in with me as she cut them. She left them a little longer, styled them and asked if I wanted to get them shorter (and to my surprise, I asked her to take a bit more off). My haircut turned out better than anything chatGPT could’ve put on me. I can honestly say she gave me the best haircut I’ve ever received in my life. Definitely my go-to hair stylist for as long as I live in San Diego. Thank you so much Makayla!

​Roby is an absolute miracle worker! I came in with five years of dyed black hair, wanting to transition to a lighter color to hide the greys, and she nailed it. Next step: balayage! She is a literal master mixologist when it comes to color; she knows exactly how to get you the exact shade you’re looking for. I love that she actually listens and offers great advice without ever being pushy—you genuinely get what you ask for. Bonus: she gives the best, most relaxing hair wash ever. On top of being insanely talented, Roby is just the sweetest person. Couldn't recommend her more!

The experience was amazing. I always go to Erika for my haircut and coloring. She was able to give me my usual layered cuts and helped me tone out my hair to be all one color and very ashy. So satisfied with my result!

I had an amazing experience with Steven and his assistant! He did highlights and a nutrition treatment for my hair, and I couldn't be happier with the results. The highlights look so natural and perfectly blend with my hair color. The nutrition treatment has left my hair feeling silky, smooth, and healthy. Steven is a true professional, and his attention to detail is impeccable. The salon atmosphere was warm and welcoming, making the entire experience enjoyable. It’s been a while since getting my hair bleached and colored, but from what I remembered, the process look a long time. When I had my appointment with Mike for a color and haircut appointment, I was blown away with the results and how quick the appointment was. Going from black hair, he was able to get my hair to the color I wanted, which was ash blonde, in a few hours (I thought it would take much longer). I am extremely happy with the results, and will definitely be returning!

This was my second coloring experience with Erika and I trusted her to make my hair the way I wanted!! She nailed it down with every detail and understood everything. She is very welcoming with guests who come in and is caring to make sure you are comfortable.

Alli is amazinggg! I’ve been debating lightening my hair for a long time, and let my intrusive thoughts win last year by putting black box dye in it 😅 so I knew lightening it would be challenging but she saw my vision and was able to make it happen all while still keeping it healthy! Walking into the salon today was such a treat, being greeted with a lovely Valentine’s Day menu featuring matcha and coffee choices was such a nice, welcoming touch. Kim’s professionalism is on another level. She is a true master of her craft, and her talent for both color and cutting never ceases to amaze me. I trust her completely because she’s so dedicated to perfecting every detail. I always walk out feeling happy and refreshed!

Jen is the only person I trust with doing my hair! She is so good at taking my preferences into account and providing helpful suggestions to make my ideas even better! She’s very knowledgeable about hair care and maintenance, and I can always trust her to do a fantastic job with cuts and coloring. I always feel like I’m treated like a VIP in her chair, and love our catch up chats each time. Would highly recommend her!! <3

The staff were nice and accommodating although I did took quite a bit more time to bleach and color my hair compared to the last time I was here, that was in August of this year. I appreciate the service I received nonetheless.

Maritza from MARMAC Studio is the best hairstylist! I get my grey coverage at the roots and a full head of highlights and I receive compliments all the time about the color and tone. Alli is amazing! She helped me figure out what I really wanted and how to achieve it - for now it’s face frame highlight and demi perm on the greys for the beginning stages of grey blending in the future to give me a natural look. I love watching the process and learning terms like “color melting” and “demarcation.” Alli was fun to chat with and made me feel so comfortable in the chair that I wanted to take a nap LOL. Jen consistently delivers gorgeous results that are designed to last. She gets it. As a busy mom, you don’t always have time to run back to the salon every few weeks. Her cuts and color hold up beautifully for months, looking just as fresh and polished as the day you left the chair.

Ashley did the most incredible blonde balayage for me and I am beyond obsessed with the results! She blended everything so seamlessly, and the color looks bright, and dimensional. It’s exactly what I envisioned, but even better. She took her time to make sure the placement and tone were perfect, and you can really tell she cares about the health of your hair. I’ve gotten nonstop compliments since my appointment. Ashley is truly the best. I can’t recommend her enough! 🫰🏻
