Sibel and the team are so lovely!! You can tell that Sibel has so many years of experience and passion for what she does. Even though it is not necessarily an "alternative" salon Sibel totally embraced my vintage 60s/70s vision and really went for it, which I really appreciated! I am feeling like the farrah fawcett of south east london!

Wow, I arrived looking real rough. Hair was dry like a piece of salt bread. Sylvia was gentle and encouraging. She told me how soft my hair was, but in reality it probably felt like straw. not the green, green grass type, but the tumbleweed type. After suggesting my treatment, she set about washing and massaging the hair, then came the hooded dryer, another wash and blow dry. I awaited the trim which is usually a actual cut, but low and behold Sylvia dod an actual trim of the dry ends and the finishing hair swayed as I moved my head. I smiled with satisfaction. 🙂

Best haircut I’ve ever had. Louis is professional, confident, and clearly knows exactly what he’s doing. He works with your hair type instead of forcing a generic style, and the result speaks for itself. On top of that, great chat — easy to talk to, good energy, proper experience all round. Highly recommend.

Loved visiting Plush and it was a fantastic appointment. Sylvia really knew her stuff regarding curl patterns and how to maintain a hair style so was extremely helpful and insightful. Lovely atmosphere and would defo come back again! Really happy with my silk press xx

I had such a great experience at Brockley Rise. All the girls were so friendly and welcoming, which made such a difference, especially since I’ve just moved to London from the other side of the world. It can be really daunting trying to find a new salon, but the Chloe who did my hair was incredibly reassuring and made me feel completely at ease. She really listened to what I wanted, and I couldn’t be happier with the result. I’ll definitely be coming back—highly recommend! 🙂
