I always have such a lovely experience with Kara, she really takes the time during the consult to talk through exactly what you want for your hair. I have never had someone take so much time to make sure my hair cut was perfect especially my bangs! The best hair cut I’ve gotten for my wavy/curly hair in Toronto, could not recommend more.

Toronto, which came back after a long time, I had a lot of worries about my hair style, but thanks to the Hair tree that I went to without any worries, and designer Kelly, my hair style worries disappeared. One of the best lash lifts I’ve ever gotten! My natural lashes are super straight and I don’t know how she did it, but the lash tech got them super curled and tinted — I usually need waterproof mascara and a heated lash curler to get my lashes to look like this. It’s also one of the most affordable lash lifts I’ve found in Toronto so far. 11/10!

This is by far the best nail salon in Toronto!! Alla is a master nail technician and provides a wonderful experience!! I refuse to go anywhere else. Meticulous and precise! Very hard to find nowadays!

I'd go to the moon if that's where Ellen set up shop, thankfully, The Borough Project is right here in Toronto, close to bellwoods! Easily the best barbershop I've ever been to in my entire life, and yet, it's so much more than a barbershop. It's like stepping into an old friend's living room. Ellen and Rui have done an exceptional job at creating a cozy and beautiful space with an inclusive environment and vibe. Can't wait for my next cut :)

I had a really positive experience! :) Everyone was very kind and welcoming — they make you feel comfortable from the moment you walk in. Judy cut my hair and she was lovely, I really liked the haircut. The blow-dry wasn’t exactly my usual style, but that’s mostly due to how challenging my hair can be. Overall, I’m very happy and would definitely come back!

Incredible! As always! I came in with the wonky-est grown-out pixie, and Kara did an incredible job in bringing my hair back to life. She was extremely patient during the consultation and was so communicative during every step of the hair cut. I felt so comfortable in the salon and left feeling so confident. I already have my follow-up hair appointment in 2.5 months time, and I can't wait!! 10/10 recommend, for anyone looking for a hair stylist in Toronto.

I love Jen's work. I have lived in Toronto for 5 years, and struggled to find a stylist that was on time and consistent. I leave feeling more like myself, (actually even better then when I walked in. Both haircuts I've gotten have been great. I highly recommend her. I am so happy to have found anti-dote.

Wonderful experience from arrival to departure. My stylist was friendly, professional and provided a great blowout. Craig, the manager, was very helpful - even taking time out to provide me with some excellent local restaurant recommendations (to dive as a local might). All this from a hair appt made in a hurry while visiting Toronto for biz and personal time. Could not recommend this place more highly!

Colleen’s colour was amazing but Soni’s blow dry wasn’t amazing, I think I needed more product and needed my hair sectioned and more tension. I wouldn’t have her blow dry me again.
