Ivan is always a joy. I usually just tell him to do what he wants with my hair and EVERY TIME I walk away with a gorgeous cut that grows out perfectly. I now live in Calgary, and when I visit Toronto I always plan a cut with Ivan.

I had a wonderful experience with Eclat! I was due to go to a wedding of a family member and wanted to look my best. The team at Eclat did a wonderful job! Both the makeup and hair were exactly what I was going for! I felt so beautiful and confident the whole night! There was much attention to detail, and the team made me feel right at home, offering drinks and even the opportunity to set the music playlist in the studio! If I ever have another formal event again while visiting Toronto, I will definitely be sure to book Eclat again!

It was my best haircutting experience. No wonder why Korean styling is so famous. The final result was incredible (made me look like a korean idol XD). It will definitely be on top of my togo list every time I come to Toronto.

Toronto, which came back after a long time, I had a lot of worries about my hair style, but thanks to the Hair tree that I went to without any worries, and designer Kelly, my hair style worries disappeared. I got my curly cut (no styling) at The Curl Lounge salon by Phay, and she was wonderful. She gave me the perfect cut—lots of volume while still maintaining some length. I highly recommend Phay and this salon in Toronto. Will be coming back to this salon! Thanks, Phay.

This was my first haircut here in toronto as a tourist. I felt very comfortable and at ease with my hair stylist, I enjoyed the small talk and overall atmosphere. To start, walking into Blackbox blew my mind. The attention to detail with fixtures, clean layout of the store and retail set up were one of the best Ive seen in many of the shops Ive visited. I had the best experience at The Curl Lounge with Elisha being my hairdresser. She gave great tips and advice on how to maintain and style curly hair. She gave honest opinions about what type of cut I should get, so I would love my hair. I loved the service she provided and she was really nice. I would recommend this place if you want your curls to look amazing. My hair went from dry with split ends to a nice cut with hydrated and defined curls. The salon is also very nicely designed and very calming :)

I had such a great experience at Elcat! Elcat herself did my haircut and blow-dry, and she absolutely nailed it. She really knows what she’s doing—I felt completely at ease in her hands, and the end result was just beautiful. You can tell she genuinely cares about her work and her clients. The salon has a warm, welcoming vibe, and Elcat is so easy to talk to. If you’re looking for someone who listens and delivers exactly what you want (or even better), I highly recommend her!
