I went for a haircut and blow dry and it was worth travelling an hour to this studio. Such warm and lovely people. Kate did my haircut and she exactly knew what I wanted and also guided me throughout on what might look good and how to maintain further. She is also so amazing to chat with and her years of experience and professionalism shows in her styling and service. Also, compared to millions of other “best in Melbourne” well known termed salons I tried, stardust studio was actually worth it and was budget friendly. I will be back every time I need a new me look💖😊

It was a good experience overall. I had a hand print balayage done, and the result was good. It took a little bit longer than what was mentioned on the website, but overall satisfied with the experience.

Booked myself in for a half head balayage + Cut & Blow Dry. Ellie did an amazing 👏 job on choosing a colour that will blend in easily and suited my brown hair. Super happy with the results with extra tips from Ellie on how to curl the hair for extra volume and flow. Thank you so much for a warm welcome and will definitely be back soon next year. 🙂

Nethra was amazing, she helped me decide on the style I wanted and took into consideration my personal preferences really well, opting for balayage instead of full head highlights as it is lower maintenance for me which I love. My hair looks and feels amazing, I am very happy with the service. The atmosphere of the salon was lovely and everyone was super kind and got along well.

I’ve been coming to Hair by Hong, Oakleigh for over a year now and this is the only salon I come to while living in Melbourne. I have pretty thin Asian-style hair and I personally feel this is the only place who understands how to handle and cut my hair to my style/taste! My hairstylist is Bella, and she is amazing, always knows what I need! My experience has always been fantastic- from the front of house greetings, hair washed, and cut. It has been nothing short of professional and I always feel welcome. Such a friendly, comfortable, chic, & professional ambience and team!

Best colourist in Melbourne by a long way. Absolute magician with blondes and color matching to any extensions. Can do high maintenance or low maintenance colors (done both over the years). Enjoy every moment there and have the healthiest bright blonde hair! Thanks Jess!

This was my first visit after a friend’s recommendation. I turned up a week early (my mistake) but they generously made time for me anyway. It was a long appointment with foils and long hair cut and style. I was very happy with Tayla, she is lovely and fun, as are the rest of the team. I slept through most of it as I was so relaxed. The location is quiet and peaceful. The day was nice so the doors were open on to a lovely quiet and breezy street. My hair is bright and bouncy so I am very happy. Have already booked my next appointment. Thank you SP!

I have been a client of Charlie Bean Salon for approx 3 years. I’m a loyal, repeat customer for good reason! I have always been extremely happy with my cuts, colours (including balayage) and beautiful blow-dries. Selina, Ellie & Lottie are all very welcoming & super knowledgeable.
