I’ve been coming to Hair by Hong, Oakleigh for over a year now and this is the only salon I come to while living in Melbourne. I have pretty thin Asian-style hair and I personally feel this is the only place who understands how to handle and cut my hair to my style/taste! My hairstylist is Bella, and she is amazing, always knows what I need! My experience has always been fantastic- from the front of house greetings, hair washed, and cut. It has been nothing short of professional and I always feel welcome. Such a friendly, comfortable, chic, & professional ambience and team!

Best colourist in Melbourne by a long way. Absolute magician with blondes and color matching to any extensions. Can do high maintenance or low maintenance colors (done both over the years). Enjoy every moment there and have the healthiest bright blonde hair! Thanks Jess!

Michele is very professional and has a great deal of knowledge and passion for what he does. I was really happy with how clearly he explained everything and how well he delivered exactly what I wanted. He made the whole experience comfortable and enjoyable, and I felt confident I was in good hands….Overall, it was a very positive experience, and I would highly recommend him.

Michele is personable and professional, and a highly experienced hairdresser. He gave new life to my curls! The salon is fantastic, with a treatment room including massage-chairs and aroma and sound therapy. Michele will also offer you coffee, tea, and biscuits to pamper you even more. I finally found the hairdresser for me - I'll be back! Highly recommended 🌹
