I went for a haircut and blow dry and it was worth travelling an hour to this studio. Such warm and lovely people. Kate did my haircut and she exactly knew what I wanted and also guided me throughout on what might look good and how to maintain further. She is also so amazing to chat with and her years of experience and professionalism shows in her styling and service. Also, compared to millions of other “best in Melbourne” well known termed salons I tried, stardust studio was actually worth it and was budget friendly. I will be back every time I need a new me look💖😊

It was a good experience overall. I had a hand print balayage done, and the result was good. It took a little bit longer than what was mentioned on the website, but overall satisfied with the experience.

Excellent customer service. Suzanne ( the Owner ) & Jasmine ( senior hair technician ) work well with each other. The new salon is pleasant & refreshing. The salon environment is remarkable & the best salon in Melbourne without a doubt!

I’ve been coming to Hair by Hong, Oakleigh for over a year now and this is the only salon I come to while living in Melbourne. I have pretty thin Asian-style hair and I personally feel this is the only place who understands how to handle and cut my hair to my style/taste! My hairstylist is Bella, and she is amazing, always knows what I need! My experience has always been fantastic- from the front of house greetings, hair washed, and cut. It has been nothing short of professional and I always feel welcome. Such a friendly, comfortable, chic, & professional ambience and team!

Love Ken! Im a man with medium length hair looking for that slick-back classic wavy look. He knows exactly what I wanted and does a great job layering my hair and cleaning everything up. Has been my go-to for months now and will be for many to come.

Just had my first appointment at Indie Hair and it was honestly fantastic! I walked in with awful regrowth and a really negative experience at a different hairdresser and I was immediately put at ease. My new haircut with a full head of foils is perfect and I feel so much better. Absolutely recommend!

Just flew into Melbourne 3 days ago and tried Indie for the 1st time. Already had my Re-growth done interstate elsewhere but badly needed a colour lift. Can’t describe how satisfied I was with the result. Not only did I get the right result upfront, but Georgia was also accomodating and professional in her approach. Thanks will definitely be back in 2022

This was my first visit after a friend’s recommendation. I turned up a week early (my mistake) but they generously made time for me anyway. It was a long appointment with foils and long hair cut and style. I was very happy with Tayla, she is lovely and fun, as are the rest of the team. I slept through most of it as I was so relaxed. The location is quiet and peaceful. The day was nice so the doors were open on to a lovely quiet and breezy street. My hair is bright and bouncy so I am very happy. Have already booked my next appointment. Thank you SP!

Anu from Mello Hair and Beauty is an absolute star! She was very good with matching me with the right treatment for my extremely dry hair and also recommended the products that would suit me. She gave me the most gorgeous haircut and was super friendly all through the whole process.
