I’ve been going to Jeoin since I moved to Singapore in 2023. I have very curly hair, and despite the fact that hers is naturally straight, she always cuts it like she’s a naturally curly-haired person. She listens to my wants, provides me her guidance and opinions, and then cuts away. I’ve always walked away a satisfied customer loving my new look. The salon is great and very centrally located in the Tanglin area. They offer scalp and shoulder massages and beverages, as part of their service. I would highly recommend Trimmings and Jeoin if you’re in need of a cut or new stylist.

I was visiting Singapore and wanted to get a haircut + highlights, Sankakkei is close to Chintown and a very convenient location, most importantly they open early at 8a and had appointments available. Erica was wonderful, super sweet and very professional, gave me solid recommendation for highlight color and was very friendly and easy to work with. I had my last haircut in Japan and I was looking for a reputable Japanese Hair Salon in Singapore. Chance upon Flamingo Salon and upon reading all the reviews I decided to give them a try. My hair stylist is Ryu and he speaks fluent English. Hence, communication with him is not an issue. My hair was short to begin with and all I needed was a trim to balance the hair length while I grow them out. Mind you! Even though it was just a trim, he made my hair look like a brand new hairstyle, much sleeker and I totally love it. Highly recommend this place and Ryu!
