I'm super happy with my cut. It took me a long time to find a good barber in NYC. He did a great job, and it was like a spa for my head. I'll definitely go back again.

Bobby is the best! The only person I go to for haircuts. He's friendly and upbeat, and an excellent barber who pays close attention to the details. Great at trimming and fading my sides and beard, and follow up with a hot towel. Tribeca hair studio is also great, the space is conveniently located, bright and clean, and reservation and payment is super easy.

I had an excellent experience with the friendly staff at Tribeca Hair Studio. Shiela has always greeted me with a warm smile and today was no different. She focused on understanding and addressing my needs and went above and beyond to ensure I got a great haircut and was satisfied before leaving the salon. Sheila is simply the best.

Who wouldn't want someone to turn their children into "model" citizens! My girls go from "Cousin it" to beautifully coiffed in no time flat! We have been going as a family to Karen at Tribeca Hair Studio and it's the quickest mood elevator you'll ever experience short of walking the red carpet with all the paparazzi. Karen is an absolute delight! I almost feel like keeping this secret to myself but I feel she's too good. If you're looking for a quick pick me up or thinking about making a style change- schedule an appointment as she can get quite busy!

Ainur is incredibly talented and pays amazing attention to detail with every braid she creates. I’ve gone to her multiple times for special events like HYROX competitions and the Pride Parade, where I wanted colorful extensions braided into my natural hair. The braids always look beautiful, are comfortable, and hold up for days—even through intense athletic events. I highly recommend Ainur to anyone looking for high-quality, creative braids that last!

What a great experience as usual. I went in for a cut and blowdry but after arriving I decided I'd like to get highlights as well. I'm so happy with how everything turned out. My highlights are very natural and so beautiful. The color she picked compliments my skin tone and natural hair perfectly. The haircut is gorgeous. Exactly what I asked for. I am so grateful for the time & effort she put into my hair. Thank you so much!

Ainur took SUCH great care of me today! I had never been to this salon, but decided to come since I saw great reviews online. I showed Ainur images of what I wanted (icy blonde underlights and a face framing highlight) and she was so open and happy to help me achieve this look! My natural hair color is about a 1B/2N. I also had box dyed the bottom half of my hair blonde. It was uneven and darker than I wanted. Ainur worked on my hair for 5 hours! Carefully checking the bleach and reapplying as needed. Once finished, both other clients at the salon complimented my hair! I couldn't be happier!

Amazing service. The hair wash lady gave a wonderful massage, and the hair stylist was diligent and talented. Only feedback would be for the salon to please clean the hair off the chair and floor after every patron.

Sunday's visit was pleasant one. The room clean, neat and cheerfully decorated. We listened to music and had great conversation. Candyce has magical hands and did a great job retwisting and interlocking my hair.

I've NEVER written a review in my life. No cap. But Desiree's work at The Way inspired my first. My daughter's hair was always this dry, clumpy mop that took stylists 10+ hours to braid—most visits took two days. Our first visit to The Way? A haircut and 2½ hours later, we finally got to celebrate her natural curly hair. Curls just popping and locking. Beautiful. For parents with mixed kids struggling with their children's hair—this place should be shortlisted. Highly recommended and will definitely return. Thanks, Desiree and The Way!

Love my experience with Jamal. He is excellent at hair care but equally as good at cutting and styling. Also, after several silk presses, I still have my great curl pattern and able to wear my hair natural and curly.

Leonor did an incredible job on my dip powder nails with tips! The shape was flawless, and the nails were perfectly thin, giving them a beautifully natural look. She’s efficient, yet clearly a perfectionist—which I really appreciate as a fellow perfectionist. I couldn’t be happier with the results. Niya did an amazing job on both my hair and my sister’s! She fixed a haircut I gave myself and added so much volume and life back to my hair. My sister has very long hair, and Niya took her time, handled it with care, and gave her exactly the style she wanted after other salons couldn’t. She really listens and pays attention to the details. We’ll definitely be back!
