I had a wonderful experience at H2. Similar to other natural hair salons I’ve been to, but the vibe was a little more open and friendly. My natural hairstylist was amazing. She gave me great recommendations on products to use and how often I should be getting my ends trimmed. The whole process was straightforward from booking in to get in there to get my hair done. Everything was effortless and straightforward. I look forward to my follow-up in January.

I saw Jahlena for the first time for a trim. I really love the cut she gave me and I felt so pretty when I took my flat twist out the following morning. I’ve always embraced my 4C hair but the trim and flat twist set had me feeling so pretty even with the shrinkage.

The salon has a great decor. Everything is really cute. I got there 15 minutes early for my appointment (the late policy scared me) and wasn't seen until 15 minutes after my appointment started. The hair stylist was apologetic and they communicated with me throughout the process. Once the appointment started, it went very well. They made sure I was comfortable the whole time. I received an actual consultation and recommendations for products to help my dry scalp and boost my natural curl pattern. Patrice cut my hair and did an amazing job. I'm impressed and excited for the hair journey!

I've NEVER written a review in my life. No cap. But Desiree's work at The Way inspired my first. My daughter's hair was always this dry, clumpy mop that took stylists 10+ hours to braid—most visits took two days. Our first visit to The Way? A haircut and 2½ hours later, we finally got to celebrate her natural curly hair. Curls just popping and locking. Beautiful. I had an amazing experience at this hair salon! From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere felt high-end, welcoming, clean and relaxing. The staff were professional, friendly, and clearly knowledgeable about natural hair. They maintained a very clean space, my stylist took great care of my hair and made sure I was comfortable throughout the entire process. I’ve been seeing Crissel for my relaxer for nearly 2 years. It’s so hard to find a stylist that does perms/relaxers anymore as it’s being replaced with Keratin/Brazilian straightening which is outrageously expensive and doesn’t straighten at all unless your hair is very thin/fine and not as curly, or Japanese straightening which is a little stronger but still not enough. She’s great and is always open to suggestions for what you know works for your hair, and I’m glad I found her. I hope you do relaxers forever!

Had a great first experience at this salon! The booking process was very easy, and the salon is spacious and most importantly, clean. I got a root perm and hair cut done by Carmen, and she did a fantastic job! She understood exactly what I wanted and was attentive throughout the whole process. This was my first time getting a root perm and it came out very nice and natural. The hair cut was also exactly what I wanted with no over-cutting. Also, this salon has Chinese and English speaking staff, so don't hesitate to book here even if you don't know Chinese. Would highly recommend :)
