I came to Tala Beauty Bar for laser hair removal on my back and shoulders. They use the Venus Velocity diode laser, and the results have been impressive even early on. It’s rare to find this level of technology and quality at such fair pricing in downtown Toronto. Mina was excellent and very patient, and she made sure everything was done properly. I felt comfortable throughout the entire session. I’ll be continuing the rest of my treatments here. Highly recommend.

One of the best lash lifts I’ve ever gotten! My natural lashes are super straight and I don’t know how she did it, but the lash tech got them super curled and tinted — I usually need waterproof mascara and a heated lash curler to get my lashes to look like this. It’s also one of the most affordable lash lifts I’ve found in Toronto so far. 11/10!

I have been getting my filler and Botox done for over 12 years religiously. I recently moved to Toronto and I am SO grateful I found Nurse Jearish! She took her time and asked me exactly what I wanted and she delivered just that! Wonderful experience from arrival to departure. My stylist was friendly, professional and provided a great blowout. Craig, the manager, was very helpful - even taking time out to provide me with some excellent local restaurant recommendations (to dive as a local might). All this from a hair appt made in a hurry while visiting Toronto for biz and personal time. Could not recommend this place more highly!

I got my extensions removed and the staff was so gentle with the removal process. I really liked that the process involved a soak off so that the removal isn't totally harsh on the natural nails underneath. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable, Sarang Nails is a great place!

I had such a great experience with Aylar! She was super sweet, patient, and really paid attention to every little detail. Natsumi gave me a warm welcome as my first ever nail appointment in Toronto! She is so sweet! I had such a great time talking with her during our time together. There was no pain, she was very delicate. Everything was clean! I love the results for my nails! Would 100% come back.

It was my first time trying magnetic colour and it turned out so pretty! I love it. Removal of my previous gel polish went smooth. I had one nail that was shorter than the rest so I got an extension to make my nails look even. It was a good recommendation. It was also my first time trying an extension. I finally feel like I found a place where paying attention to details actually means paying attention to details. The nail dust vent, comfortable hand rests, and phone stands made such a difference. I’d wear a sweater next time if seated near the door since it was a bit cold, but that’s minor. I love my manicure and fresh gel extensions—short, square, plain black. Perfect shape, clean work, no mistakes. The projector with shows and movies across the wall adds a luxurious, relaxing feel. Just missing the coffee ☕️ I’ll definitely be back! 💅✨

Sekai is hands down the best place for manicures in the city. I used to live super close by so it was naturally my nail salon. Now that I live further I realize how spoiled I was. Every time I get my nails done somewhere else I regret it, so I make a point of travelling back to Sekai when I need my manicure to last. My fave technician is Mithu. She is so kind and takes extra time and care to get my nails just right. My manicures always last longer than from anywhere else, so it’s worth the slightly higher cost. I highly recommend Sekai!
