Sarah is incredible. Not just her mad skills but her amazing vibe! I felt comfortable from the minute we met. She has designed her space to be a relaxing experience, which was absolutely what I need when I’m in that zone. It’s unfortunate that I live so far away but I’m already planning a trip back to Wollongong in time for my next cut and colour!

Kristie is one of the best hairdressers I have ever had. I have had a few beauty apts with Mel and was excited to have one with Kristie. Other hairdressers in Wollongong have disappointed me, Kristie did not! I even broke the coffee cup and the girls were so lovely about it.

Tesh gets it right every time. I give him an idea of what I want and leave it to him. If you are looking for a true old school barber, Tesh is the go too for the area. From old school 50s style scissor cuts to standard fades. Won’t go anywhere else.

This was my first visit to Haylo and it most certainly won't be my last. I have only recently embraced my curls, so, I had no education whatsoever on how it should be cut, maintained and the best way to style. I found Haylo on Insta and booked in for the VIP first curly cut. My experience was amazing, informative and inspirational to keep and maintain the curls. So men out there, don't be shy and shave the curls off. Embrace them and book in to see the staff at Haylo - They will show you the way.

Iv been getting my hair cut with Nick for over a decade now and iv never once been disappointed! He specialises in women’s hair but also provides the best men’s style cut in Wollongong /Illawarra! Nicks the ultimate professional with a friendly and laidback personality which makes for a very personable experience every time. His cuts and fades are always sharp and on point and I always leave looking and feeling like a new me! Highly recommended 10/10

I had such a great experience at Salon Kaia today! Kate did an incredible job – I got a glossing treatment and a haircut, and the result is absolutely beautiful. Ciara was great! I’ve always struggled finding a curly hair stylist and I moved from Sydney to Wollongong earlier this year so was nervous to find a new stylist but I am so happy with my cut and colour! The space was lovely and welcoming and Ciara made sure I felt really comfortable and listened to everything I was after. Would definitely recommend! :)

Fantastic Experience! From the very start, I had a thorough consultation with Lilly, who offered thoughtful suggestions without being pushy, allowing me to consider her professional advice. The head massage was amazing, and she styled and curled my hair to perfection. I attended my friend’s wedding feeling happy, confident, and absolutely thrilled with the outcome. I will use this salon again when we revisit Wollongong.
