I had a gel manicure with Jill. She did such a great job and her energy is very gracious and uplifting. My nails look great. The vibe at Elcot Park Retreat is calming and it feels like a real treat to enter the premises.

Daniela was fantastic - knew exactly what I wanted - small trim and then blow dry straight (as I have naturally curly hair). She was very professional and kept me informed of each stage of how she was going to trim before blow dry and then tidy up afterwards. Would fully recommend - Sequoia in Newbury has a wonderful calming atmosphere - and all the staff were so friendly.

My first visit to The Retreat…lovely salon. I usually see Andrew at Sequoia in Newbury, he always cuts my hair beautifully. Will be returning to the retreat as it’s a very calm environment. See you in December!!

I moved from Newbury to Oxford 3 years ago, but still come back to Newbury to have my hair done, as it’s the best Hair cut/blow dry by far. Well worth the drive. Ros

Great first experience at Elcot Park Retreat and I really appreciated not feeling rushed. I left with a great hair cut which was just what I wanted hence the 5***** review. It’s a beautiful setting too so worth a ten minute drive from Newbury.

Joseph is the best hairstylist in Newbury! He’s been looking after my hair for 20 years. I absolutely wouldn’t go anywhere else. Beautiful, modern and relaxing environment at Sequoia.

Super but assistants are needed for blow drys at Elcot if you are offering colours otherwise the service is not as good as the Newbury salon. Twice now told there isn’t time or capacity for a blow dry which is disappointing.

Great experience with Lauren at Elcot Park. Lauren took great care to talk through with me exactly what I wanted and I’m delighted with my highlights. Will definitely be returning either to Elcot Park or their beautiful salon in Newbury where Joseph always does a brilliant haircut.
