Had a dodgy haircut at a different barbershop a few years ago so I must say I was dubious going somewhere I wouldn't normally go however, I am so glad I did. The barber was fantastic and I came out with a great cut. Sorry I only had a tenner on me as the cut was professional. The only thing I will say is I wasn't a fan of the spinning chair 🤣 however all in all a great cut and great service. Thank you so much. Best of luck with finishing your course. P.s. it's great that your boss is strict. She's getting the best out of you and as a client I can see that.

AWESOME. the experience was very fun and for a small barbershop it's incredible. This was the second time I came here but this time with my brother. Nothing short of nice and cozy. There is a big sofa for two people to sit and so while I was waiting for my brother to be done I sat in it. The barbers are very nice. we got served by a barber called Adam and he asked some basic questions to make small talk. Overall he is a nice person that takes his job very professionally. Excited to go there for my next time.

I have been visiting Gould Barbers in Newbury. for around 8 months, Every visit I have my haircut and styled by Vinny, and I have to say each and every visit I can see that he has gained more and more confidence in his abilities to cut hair. Amazing job :-) Goulds you have found a real Gem!

I hadn't been in to Gould Barbers Newbury for a while, but when I visited today Lita remembered my name, my daughter's name, my favourite TV shows etc. She actually cares about her repeat customers and takes a genuine interest in them. Today I got another great haircut from Lita, and whilst cutting my hair she was supervising an apprentice ensuring that they gave their client a haircut that matched her high standards. Thank you Lita!

The best haircut my son has ever had. Very attentive and through. We came in from Basingstoke and I did think this would be an issue going forward but it was very quick and convenient to get to kingsclere and took no longer than driving into ‘town’ for us. So if you live in Basingstoke it’s well worth the visit to this barbershop. Bang on great service and the best fade and cut my very particular and fussy 13 year old has ever had. Would recommend without hesitation and you now have a new regular client!
