Deya is the best! I have thick hair and I was worried about if KMB Studio didn’t have texturizing shears, but thank goodness I asked! They have shears to help thin your thick hair out if you don’t want to deal with a puffy lion’s mane especially with Chicago’s humidity lol! 🦁😜 and the conditioning mask made my hair feel soft and less frizzy! Kayla did my hair and makeup for my wedding day, and I couldn’t be happier with the results! Despite not doing a trial run, she took me on her day off and created the most beautiful bridal look. I have thick, curly hair, which not everyone can handle, but Kayla's experience with my hair type truly showed—she did an amazing job. Katya was so detail oriented and efficient with her flawless nail application! She re did the chrome on a couple of my short toenails twice to make sure there were absolutely no imperfections in it without me even asking her to. I had a really nice experience overall. The owner and the hairdresser were both incredibly kind and accommodating. They created such a fun and welcoming atmosphere. I absolutely loved how my hair turned out! They did a beautiful job. The only reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because the makeup wasn’t quite what I asked for. I requested a very natural look, but it ended up being much heavier than I wanted and I had to redo it. That said, their kindness and the positive energy in the salon really stood out, and I truly appreciated how welcoming they were.

Sima is truly in a league of her own! After a disastrous experience with another artist while traveling, I came to Sima to fix the damage, and she did not disappoint. She is a true master of her craft. Beyond her incredible talent, her warm personality makes every appointment a joy. I’ve officially learned my lesson: no one else is touching my lashes or brows again. I’ve already secured my 3-week refill to make sure I’m always taken care of!

Mylissa helped do wedding hair and makeup for my bridal party and me. She was awesome from the start. We did a trial together and talked through the logistics of the day. She is very laid back and chill which helped me to relax a little bit during the stresses of wedding planning. She helped turned my vision into the perfect wedding look. Simone’s Nail Lounge is a hidden gem, and Fabi is absolutely incredible! She was so thorough and gentle, taking her time with both my manicure and pedicure to make sure everything looked perfect. The highlight was definitely the lemongrass treatment—it was amazingly soothing, and the smell was amazing. I never felt rushed, and the entire experience was so relaxing. Just had my 6 week touch up nanobrows with Sima. I have had my eyebrows microbladed a few times before but nothing has compared to the nanobrows Sima has done. She took her time and was extremely precise, overall did an excellent job and my eyebrows have never looked better.

I needed to remove old permanent brow makeup that I had done years ago by a different artist, and Aliya did an amazing job. I’m absolutely obsessed with the results! I went to so many places before, but no one could remove it properly. After just one session, I already saw a huge improvement.
