Charlene did a fabulous job with my “hair up”!! Having never been to Charlene before I didn’t know if I’d be able to explain what I wanted & her get the vibe, but she absolutely did! It’s not that I wanted anything particularly complicated but somehow people just don’t get what you want sometimes, but Charlene totally got it, executed a beautiful birthday updo & was great to chat to for an hour! I am definitely considering changing to her as my regular hairdresser as I absolutely felt I can trust her! Thank you 🙏

I don’t usually leave reviews but when it comes to your face, you want to make sure you choose someone you can trust. I cannot recommend Liv highly enough. She is friendly, chatty, honest, professional, knowledgeable and an extremely lovely. I wouldn’t go anywhere else 🙂 Brooke Reid

This is my 2nd visit to A La Mode and it was as special as my first. Carla did my nails beautiful and make sure I was comfortable throughout. It is honestly like catching up with a friend every time I see her. Couldn't recommend enough

My nails were completely transformed and revived. The nail technician takes the time to really do her best each time I visit. Very pleased and would always recommend her. The only slight downside could be that it can take a bit longer than usual to get extensions but this is because again she takes the care and extra effort to make them perfect.

Thank you Laura for an excellent visit today. My eyebrows look great already and I have no discomfort at all even though only done three hours ago ! Thank you for the time you took to make sure they were just what I wanted. The aftercare pack is brilliant and covers everything you may want to know, even a much appreciated teabag 😂. I would recommend anyone in later years with thinning eyebrows to visit Laura.

Tetyana is incredibly professional and pays amazing attention to detail. The quality of her work is outstanding — my nails look absolutely perfect every time. Her little salon is warm and welcoming, making the whole visit relaxing and enjoyable. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking for flawless nails and great service. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I was recommended to Charlene by a friend and she is definitely the best hairdresser I've ever found for both cut and colour. I drive 1.5hr round trip each time and it's so worth it, highly recommended. She really understands warm and cool tones and how to make a colour suit you, multi tones look natural and the cut is personalised to exactly what I asked for. This is so hard to find in a hairdresser so I can't see myself ever changing hairdressers again :-)

I cant recommend Katie highly enough. Two of my nails were ina complete state broken and split and different lengths to tbe others. She built up and repaired the broken nails so they matched the same length as my other ones. I have never seen this before and will always go to this salon now.

I attended Aimez-Vous today for a cut and colour with Charlene, I had highlights put in but wasn’t sure what to do about the style. The style I had was ok, but it had been the same for a long time and I felt like a bit of a change. Charlene suggested a style which brought my hair style right up to date. I'm really pleased with the result. I had also booked had an eyelash lift and tint and an eyebrow tint both of which came out great. It was so handy getting all this done in one visit. I feel like my look has been completely refreshed. I would absolutely recommend a visit Aimez-Vous.

Gigi is phenomenal! I’ve never seen my cuticles look this good—she’s incredibly detailed and precise. The shape she gave my nails is absolutely beautiful, with the most perfect rounded finish I’ve ever had (and I’ve been to a lot of salons!). Her BIAB application is flawless—honestly, I think she does the best BIAB in Colchester. Highly recommend!

Again Shanice was fantastic! Never anything to complain about and always does a fantastic job! Making sure I’m extra comfortable during the appointment with additional pillows and propping the bed up! Thank you!

Jana is an amazing therapist everything she does is to such a high standard. Her LVLs are next level amazing results. She always puts in the extra care to make you feel at home and super relaxed and talks your through the process. I have also had facials and massages all have been amazing. Can’t recommend enough.

I absolutely love my new eyebrows 🥰 My natural eyebrows are very light, so they weren’t visible unless tinted or if I am wearing make up. That’s why I have decided to do powder brows. Gigi is so professional, she made a perfect shape for me based on my facial features. Right after the appointment my eyebrows looked quite dark and wide, but after healing process has ended the shape got thinner and colour became very natural. I get so many compliments now, everyone says that I look very good. ☺️ I highly recommend powder brows by Gigi ❤️

Lovely lady great job putting my hair up

It’s great to have this lovely salon on the doorstep! It’s very nicely set up and has a good range of services. Online booking is very simple. I had a gel manicure, which I was very pleased with, and I’ll be back to try the other services.
