My experience with Bree was so amazing! Since moving to Ottawa in January I hadn’t been able to find a stylist who I could trust. I am very picky about my hair and Bree killed it! I am so happy with the result. The salon was beautiful and clean!

I booked my colour, lowlights and cut on a whim with Natasha after seeing her hair portfolio, and she did an AMAZING job! I am very picky, as I have unruly, coarse, curly, flat brown and graying, 53YO hair. She listened to what I was hoping for, and delivered exactly that. The colour, specifically, was possibly the best colour I have had in a looooooong time. The salon was bright, clean, aesthetic and delightful, despite its modest exterior and off-the-beaten-path location in Kanata. I live in Hintonburg, but will keep driving to Kanata to this salon.

As soon as I walked in, I ADORED the vibe! Everyone made me feel so comfortable, the environment is gorgeous and perfectly girly, and my hairdresser Marieeve was absolutely lovely! She made me feel validated, comfortable, and she was able to easily make recommendations for my hair and gave me the most gorgeous look. I felt very insecure about my hairstyle for many months and she fixed it all up and now I feel incredible in my skin. Thank you so much Marieeve and Fika team and I will DEFINITELY be coming back!! :)

First time here and it's quite lovely! Very calming and chill atmosphere, super cute, and Tatyana was great. She's very sweet and I loved the new look I got - and even though I went home after and ended up having some second thoughts on the colour we landed on, she was able to make time for me to come right back and get to a colour I was even happier with! :)

Grace is a lovely and talented stylist. Over the past year we have worked on getting my hair back to a healthy state and everything she has done and recommended has led me to that. The Fika salon is a great environment led by a team of stylists who clearly love working there. A testament to the leadership. Keep up the great work ladies!

The best spot ever! I cannot tell you how much I love this space and the humans running it. Shannon and Annie are above and beyond and make you feel like part of the family. They're very knowledgeable and creative + just the kindest humans. They have created an inclusive space, they are constantly learning and making things better. Trust me go get some nails, hair etc from this talented team!

Natasha was nice, very receptive to my wishes, my hair turned out great. I found the space to be VERY overwhelming. It was incredibly loud & busy. Very hard to hear, let alone relax. Plus the banging from the dance studio above, I know there isn't much that can be done in a busy studio but maybe if there were quieter hours, dimmer lighting, minor noise reduction that would help make it more pleasant. For the record I get my nails done and have never had this issue.

Mikhaila was great and made me very comfortable, answering all my questions and giving me helpful tips. The tan on my face ended up quite a bit darker than I expected, and in my view pretty obvious that it was a spray tan (which I wanted to avoid), but this was partially my fault as I should have asked for a shade lighter on my face. Nothing orange though! I’d still go back and just be more specific about shade.

I have neverrrr had a shellac manicure last this long without peeling/chipping. The polish is only now (17 days later) starting to crack (but only just a little) and my nails are still super shiny. If it wasn't for how quickly my nails grow, I would probably have another week before needing to make any touch ups. Thank you Daphney for the great mani!!

Amazing experience every time. I’m obsessed with Annie. She is so personable, make you feel at ease and relaxed- like talking to a friend! First time doing dip nails and she paid so much attention to detail. She rocks. The fika environment is so inviting, relaxed and fun! Best place.
