What is leg waxing and how is it done?

Leg waxing is a hair removal method for the legs. Hair removal is achieved by placing hot or cold wax on your legs, then stripping it off quickly in the opposite direction to your hair growth to extract hairs from the root. Soft wax is normally used in leg waxing, and sees a thin layer of warmed wax applied to your skin using a wooden spatula or roller. The results of leg waxing last between 4 and 6 weeks, depending on your hair regrowth cycle. It is important not to wax or shave in between.

What are the different types of leg waxing?

There are two types of leg waxing: full leg – which removes hair from the top of your thighs to the base of your ankles – and half leg – which removes hair from below your ankle to just above your knees, or from your thighs to your knees.

Is leg waxing safe for all skin types?
