I have been searching for a hair stylist for the past year and I’m happy I’ve finally found him! Jason is ABSOLUTELY incredible. You can tell he loves what he does and is attentive to the most minor detail with your hair. One of the best haircuts I’ve ever gotten! Jill truly cares about what she does and doesn’t rush the process. I have curly hair but living in NY, the water makes it so stale and flat. She cut it in such a way that it brought my hair back to life and gave me advice on how to make the most of my curls. I tried her technique immediately the next day and my hair has never been curlier! Thank you so much Jill and I will definitely be back!

This place is excellent, but two things stood out to me as a woman with a traditionally men’s haircut. First, it seems like a silly thing but I love that the website uses cut type (short/medium/long, curly cut, barber’s cut) and not male/female to differentiate between services. Second, stylists almost always try to soften my cut to make it more feminine. Chi made mine extra edgy and styled it exactly how I imagined. Thank you!!

i love this salon. i felt welcomed and taken care of from the moment i walked in. all of the stylists were so friendly. my shampoo was the gentlest head massage. liyah was amazing and talked me through the whole process letting me know exactly what she was doing and why. she also gave me great advice on what i could do to my hair at home to get the results im seeking with hair health, length, and thickness. the results were beyond my expectations. i havent been to a salon in years bc of ptsd with getting butchered haircuts and blow outs but h2 has restored my faith. i will definitely be back!

OMG, I got my haircut from Andrea and she is AMAZING. I have curly hair and havent gotten it cut since the pandemic started, PLUS I also had a baby, so it was looooong. She dry cut it and worked through my curls and did such a great job. I feel like a new person - with bouncy, well-styled, no-longer-straggly curls. THANK YOU!

I went into my appointment feeling blah and was *feeling myself* by the time I left. I can’t give Harix enough praise! He is SO talented and I could not be happier with my cut and color. He is equal parts artist and stylist, which is especially crucial when it comes to curly hair. He also has a wonderful vibe and I immediately felt at ease. This is by far the best hair service I’ve ever received. Harix is truly a curly hair expert and I’m so grateful to have found him! Roots Radicals is also a lovely salon. Everyone there was kind, professional, and knowledgeable. I recommend it to everyone!

11/10 experience! This salon was clean and the staff was nice and efficient. I’ve been to many salons and this was the most thorough hair wash and scalp massage I’ve ever had. And Curly was just amazing! I had the best experience with him. He listened and took his time to get my cut as precise and perfect as possible. He also gave me styling tips and got my pin straight hair to look voluminous like I wanted. Glad I found my new go to spot, and for my cut to be under $100 with tip is unheard of in New York.

Paul and the whole team at Self were amazing. They have great safety protocol in place and still created a calming salon experience. The haircut from Paul was exactly what I was looking for! As a curly hair person switching your stylist can be scary, but I'll definitely be back!!

Gina was so amazing! My hair was dead and flat when I came in. She listened to what I wanted out of the haircut and recommended some solutions and did such an amazing job. I can’t recommend her and this salon enough after encountering so many bad salons in Brooklyn. So happy to have FINALLY found a salon I plan on coming back to for future haircuts.

My second time at H2 salon and my experience was even better! Second haircut. Lorraine cut it first and left me with a beautifully shaped natural curly hair style. I loved it. But then yesterday J gave me life with this lil bob chile. No one can talk to me you hear me?! idk who I am any more. Lol I’m just in loveee My favorite salon I’ll go to anyone really no one disappoints 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 5 stars all around.

I booked a haircut with silk press and I love it! Geneva did a great, thorough job with my wash, blowout, trim and silk press; and on top of everything was a friendly stylist. I told her what my hair health goals were and she gave me a bunch of useful tips for me to use when I do my own hair. The salon is mad cute too and they played great music lol 10/10!

This is by far the best haircut I’ve ever gotten! Harix is a master with curly hair and the entire vibe of the salon is so welcoming. I definitely will be recommending everyone to this salon and be returning myself!
