Being that I’m new to the area I was super nervous about finding the right salon. I was experiencing dry scalp & hair breakage. The environment at pressed studio was welcoming & warm. Everyone wore their masks properly. Cece was so polite & suggested a dry scalp treatment & silk press which turned out to be everything my hair needed! Antoine did his thing on my hair! The entire treatment process felt amazing & I could hear my scalp saying “aahhh” immediately. I will definitely be returning once a month. Thank you all!

I had the most incredible experience at Pressed Studio! First visit and I will now be a regular client. I had a photoshoot in Brooklyn for my website and CeCe did an amazing job styling my hair. i love this salon. i felt welcomed and taken care of from the moment i walked in. all of the stylists were so friendly. my shampoo was the gentlest head massage. liyah was amazing and talked me through the whole process letting me know exactly what she was doing and why. she also gave me great advice on what i could do to my hair at home to get the results im seeking with hair health, length, and thickness. the results were beyond my expectations. i havent been to a salon in years bc of ptsd with getting butchered haircuts and blow outs but h2 has restored my faith. i will definitely be back!

You Tenderheads would certainly have no complaints. Lol. I love the patience shown for his clients and junior staff. He discusses your hair care regimen explores the products you are using and suggests others when appropriate. He takes time to provide information to help your hair stay its healthiest until you're in his chair again.

Punctual, Knowledgeable and Skillful, Sew Brooklyn is a paragon of upscale, black owned salon service. The location gives very upscale urban, yet intimate boutique vibes. Prices are clear and visible before booking and there is no bait and switch. I came in requesting several different treatments for my hair. My stylists’ first priority was the health of my hair and not the profit they’d make from my requests. They recommended the steam and protein treatment for my hair (natural 4C) in addition the the silk press is initially requested. My style has left me feeling put together and lovely.

This is my 2nd visit to SewBk. My stylist was Kenna, she is a sweet heart and pays attention to detail and made me feel very comfortable entering a salon - its been years! The decor was beautiful the vibe of the salon is a whole mood lol. I was able to keep I'm contact with Kenna about any questions I had about my hair and she was able to reply and give advisement. My first silk press was beautiful but my it was steam treatment for the win. I would def recommend 👌🏾

I love Jamila and she is the ONLY person I trust in my hair (I wear a low pixie). She is an absolute perfectionist and takes her work seriously. She is also very down to earth, kind-hearted and I appreciate seeing a high level of precision, excellence and detail in her work, the cleanliness and thoughtfulness of the shop—everything. I always have a good time, she’s never unreasonably behind on appointments and there’s wine, chocolate and alkaline water while you wait. She also doesn’t tarry and works efficiently. 10/10 easily.

So I am on a healthy hair journey and I have chosen the perfect person to be on this journey with. I had very badly damaged hair. Was tired of putting weaves in to hide it as well as the braids.
