I’ve been to Barry Alan a few times and my most recent experience was by far my best. I had a consultation for hair extensions with Jess, she was amazing! Seemed to know a lot on the subject and the conversation was focused on how to keep my hair healthy before we even began looking at the actual colours for the extensions. She is booked out quite far but got me the earliest possible appointment and put me on a list to call about cancellation. Overall she was lovely and I’m excited about my extensions!

I left Barry Alan's yesterday feeling uplifted and rejuvenated . Barry and his team take a holistic approach to what is obviously so much more than just a haircut to them. I always feel Barry understands exactly what I want from my hair , not only in the mechanics of the colour and cut but how I want to feel about it, what I want it to say about me. The passion Barry and his team feel about what they do is evident at this salon, from the moment I walk in feeling slightly drab and tired, to leaving with million dollar hair and a new sense of purpose. Very pleased with overall experience; considering I had natural hair for all my life choosing the right salon and hairdresser was the key for me. Ieva who I had a pleasure to meet goes above and beyond , after initiall consultation we agreed that the best would be to go for natural balaige to start ( i have natural dark blond aiming to go lighter within the time ); everyone else were also very welcoming. Great atmosphere and superb result . Very professional 👏 and will be coming back!!! THANK you 😊

Very impressed with CAVELL. Excellent attention to detail and willing to go the extra mile to satisfy the customer. 1st visit here I've recently moved to Norwich. I wanted a Perm but after strand test was advised this would not be suitable, due to the previous T- section highlights, would cause further damage. Ruby managed to T section my hair with 2 colours without bleach, complementing my existing colour which blended in fantastically. Grace then put in some soft layers & blow dryed it perfectly to give volume & body. I was very anxious finding somewhere new but was put at ease and everything was thoroughly explained throughout. I have found my new hairdresser & look forward to getting my dream perm soon

As always, I have had a good haircut, prompt service and a good chat! I was offered coffee but declined the offer because I had had coffee at home, just before my appointment. Molly made some helpful suggestions about styling my own blow-dry!

I’ve been a regular at Cavell hairdressing since the start and I always love my visits. This time I had the keratin treatment with Millie. The results have been amazing! My fine wavy frizzy hair feels smooth and healthy and best of all it behaves itself on my early morning, slightly damp dog walks! I’ve not had to straighten my hair between washes which also helps keep my hair healthy with less heat exposure. Thanks as always you lovely ladies…..see you soon xx
