As ever, Shannon’s skill is unmatched when styling and cutting curly hair. I have no desire to go anywhere else for my haircuts, as she seems to be able to understand my terribly unclear creative directions to give me exactly what I want. The salon has a friendly, relaxing atmosphere that is hard to find in Norwich. I will gladly continue coming here for the foreseeable future.

Couldn't be happier with this Salon. First time today and honestly have been trying find a hairdresser that cuts and colours hair by listening but also giving their opinion. But most importantly the little touches like offer of drinks and just how friendly and chatty hairdresser makes me actually look forward to some relaxing self care time. Just lovely friendly trendy salon but without any pretense. Thank you so much for my hair. Feel like a new person

I left Barry Alan's yesterday feeling uplifted and rejuvenated . Barry and his team take a holistic approach to what is obviously so much more than just a haircut to them. I always feel Barry understands exactly what I want from my hair , not only in the mechanics of the colour and cut but how I want to feel about it, what I want it to say about me. The passion Barry and his team feel about what they do is evident at this salon, from the moment I walk in feeling slightly drab and tired, to leaving with million dollar hair and a new sense of purpose. Very pleased with overall experience; considering I had natural hair for all my life choosing the right salon and hairdresser was the key for me. Ieva who I had a pleasure to meet goes above and beyond , after initiall consultation we agreed that the best would be to go for natural balaige to start ( i have natural dark blond aiming to go lighter within the time ); everyone else were also very welcoming. Great atmosphere and superb result . Very professional 👏 and will be coming back!!! THANK you 😊

This was my first appointment at Rural Hair Salon with Michael and it was lovely. I had a root touch up, thinned out and a tidy up of any dead ends. Michael was very welcoming and knowledgable. I felt very relaxed and in good hands, highly recommend 😊

I can't thank Barry enough for the amazing hair cut and advice. I'd had two bad experiences in Norwich and was beginning to believe it was just my hair and my confidence in myself was knocked. I went to Barry in a bit of desperation with the intention to just chop off my long locks. It was the first time I felt like a hairdresser truly took the time to listen to me and understand my hair before grabbing the scissors. I left the salon with my long hair intact and gorgeous shaping to complement my face. I can't wait for my next visit and so relieved that I've finally found Barry!!

Normally I have my hair cut with Leon who is an amazing hairdresser but today I had my haircut with Frank who is just as amazing! Came out of the salon feeling a million dollars and Frank is just the loveliest funniest young man. Thank you for a lovely cut and blow dry Frank. Will be back soon

My first time in the Salon today…I had shampoo, cut and treatments by Leighann. She did a great job, listened to what I wanted, was very chatty and cheerful but professional too. I’m very pleased with my haircut. Thank you!

A wonderful hairdressing experience. A bad cut ( another salon not in the city) was put right. Such a reassuring lady. I have made another booking to include a colour.

My daughter and I love our “mummy/daughter pamper sessions” with Ruby and Grace. Everyone at the salon is so friendly and attentive, we always feel looked after and obviously leave with amazing hair!
