I love this place - I recently moved to Toronto from the UK & was in need of a good local nail tech & had no idea where to look. I went to Sugar Nails on the off chance that they had someone free to do my nails & the lady at the desk was so friendly! My nail tech (Mia) was amazing & did my nails so well! I’m so glad I found this place!

We are in Toronto on vacation and visited Beauticare nails twice and both times they were great . The team are friendly and dedicated and my feet feel fantastic with all the hard skin gone and the nails look clean and perfectly shaped. I highly recommend but remember to book online as always busy which is another great sign.

I had a great experience with Kelly, getting a cat eye gel manicure. Her attention to detail was spot on, and the nails turned out beautifully! The actual appointment was great - no complaints at all. Nice place, friendly staff, cute dog. The weird thing is, I got a shellac manicure and four days later four of my nails have chipped polish. I haven’t done anything different so I don’t know why this happened. Hopefully it was just the polish that maybe was off. I enjoyed my experience though.

So lucky to have this new nail studio in Leslieville. Theresa did an amazing job with my chrome manicure. She was so meticulous with my cuticles and the shape was perfect. The salon is beautiful and so clean and they followed all the proper hygiene protocols. I would give it 10 stars if I could.

Jan has done my nails the last few times, and she’s fantastic. I get the bio gel and she gets them pretty thin not at all bulky. Also great at filing them so they’re nice and even, even with some of my fingers being crooked. I’m not super chatty so I appreciate that conversation isn’t overly forced but everyone is really nice. And sometimes there’s a really cute and sweet dog.

I go to Jade on Danforth regularly for eyebrow threading. They're one of the only salons that do this - and they do it perfectly! The atmosphere inside is also so much nicer than most places, and no harsh chemical smells. I also told them about my favourite colour of nail polish that I've been looking for for ages, but has been discontinued in Canada. And they offered to order it for me!

The women at Jade are all wonderful. I go there for eyebrow threading and pedicure's and they do a wonderful job. The only thing I would ask is that they expand their selection of gel colours. They have a lot, but nothing that I really really love

It was great. So nice to come back to Yota and Courtney after having been absent for a while. Best place in Toronto.

I finally feel like I found a place where paying attention to details actually means paying attention to details. The nail dust vent, comfortable hand rests, and phone stands made such a difference. I’d wear a sweater next time if seated near the door since it was a bit cold, but that’s minor. I love my manicure and fresh gel extensions—short, square, plain black. Perfect shape, clean work, no mistakes. The projector with shows and movies across the wall adds a luxurious, relaxing feel. Just missing the coffee ☕️ I’ll definitely be back! 💅✨

I’ve been getting my manicures at Velvet Beauty by Kay for a year and they are consistently beautiful and durable! They recently started offering massages and Kim gives a great shoulder massage!

Absolutely love velvet beauty salon! Not only are they incredibly welcoming and friendly on arrival but they are so thorough when it comes to each treatment, be it a facial or a mani/pedi. The attention to detail and high standards throughout are second to none. I’ve just finished having a facial, shellac manicure and massage and have walked out on cloud 9. My type of spa treatment where they do a great job and you just know you are in capable hands. Thanks velvet!

As always, Annie went above and beyond! New gel set of nails with gold tip French! Oh my gosh! Obsessed! She’s the best. Also did a much needed mani. So gentle. Abs the massage at the end, I asked her to marry me! Lol You will not be disappointed. :)
