Cut and colour by Ellie always top quality. However I need to mention this time, the lack of cleanliness on the female side of the salon. Nothing to do with Ellie. I did mention to her. Noticeable hairs, lots of them on the chairs, wrapped round the feet of the chairs, on the mirrors, footplates and skirting under the mirrors. Was really unpleasant to see. I've read that Lancaster City Council intend to inspect barbers and hairdressers. They put a post on Facebook to say this and said all chairs etc should be cleaned hygienically after each customer. The whole place is a bit shabby 😒

I loved how Ru managed to do my hollywood waxing. It was painless and she made sure I was at ease. She explained everything she did. She is very friendly, chatty and professional at the same. Will definitely come back. Xx

I had a new hydro facial today with Katie after a friend recommended her to me. I rarely have facials as I don’t like being faffed with (don’t judge me!) This was a perfect 30 minute acid serum treatment for my 57 year old face which can be a course of 3 or 6. I’ve already booked in for another two so far. Absolutely brilliant facial treatment from Katie, who clearly knows her stuff and is very professional and also very friendly. A great little find in my opinion, I most definitely recommend this lovely independent salon

I've seen Katy before for a facial and today was my 1st full body massage. Katy is such a good listener as I had a few medical issues causing me tension and pain. She designed a massage specifically fory situation. I felt totally comfortable especially being my 1st time. My shoulders, neck and feet felt like they were floating after! The room is lovely, calming, smells lovely. I 100% recommend Katy and Awaken Face and body care xx

Been to Sammy's a few times for treatments and her facials are the best there is! I suffer with TMJ disorder, incl an operation which didn't help, and have to take daiky painkillers. When I visit Sammy for her facials, she's so good at what she does, I feel so well and don't need painkillers for weeks. I leave really happy and I swear she takes 10yrs off my face.

As someone with anxiety issues , I could not have been made to feel more comfortable by Sammy and her staff . I really appreciate all the work she has done helping me to feel better about myself and my face , using fillers and botox . She explained to me what she was doing and why ...and also which of the packages I could buy to get the best value for money. She also informed me of what the best procedures would be going forward ,for healthier looking skin . Thank you so much ! X

A new experience having the microdermabrasion facial with Tracey. I liked having the procedure explained. This is, as Tracey advised, a cleansing and cleaning facial. The cold mask went on covering my face, eyes and mouth (although the last 2 coverings are optional). Whilst the mask was on doing it's magic, Tracey massaged my arms and hands. All a very nice experience. And my skin looked fab and felt tauter afterwards. Thank you.

I've been having Botox for about 6 years, every 8mths. This was my 1st time with Sammy and it's the best I've had! The least pain, the most efficient and due to her being really confident yet gentle, I can't believe I was still chatting away when she put the needle in! I usually hold my breath and dislike that part! I was laughing with her as I left about my pain free Botox and it made me smile, to think needles in the face made me laugh! Lovely salon very bright, light and welcoming. So glad I found out where Neve had moved to. It is easy to get to I don’t drive but bus and train from Lancaster are easy and frequent and it’s only a few steps to the salon. Thanks again for a lovely experience and haircut.
