Dry needling involves the insertion of fine needles into the skin and muscle tissue to reduce muscular and trigger-point pain.

What are the risks of dry needling?

Side effects aren’t common, but could include bleeding or bruising at the needle insertion points. You may also experience dizziness, drowsiness, nausea, and an increase in pain for 24-48 hours after your treatment. What is the difference between dry needling and acupuncture?

Acupuncture is an ancient Chinese medicine which has been around for centuries, unlike dry needling which has only been available in recent years.
