What does dry needling actually do?

Dry needling involves the insertion of fine needles into the skin and muscle tissue to reduce muscular and trigger-point pain.

What is the difference between dry needling and acupuncture?

Acupuncture is an ancient Chinese medicine which has been around for centuries, unlike dry needling which has only been available in recent years. Both acupuncture and dry needling see thin needles inserted into the skin or muscle to treat pain.
