The treatment is carried out by a licensed esthetician who will use a spatula to apply the wax in small sections on the back, then remove it using the strip of cloth or paper.

Back waxing is possible at home, but we recommend you have a professional to avoid any mistakes or injuries. If you do decide to do it at home, use high-quality wax, apply it in small sections, and pull the strip in the opposite direction of hair growth. You should also follow the same preparation and aftercare practices as you would with a professional appointment.

Make sure the hair on your back is at least a quarter of an inch long (0.6cm), so the wax can grip the hair effectively. Avoid sun exposure for at least a day before your treatment, and do not apply any oils or lotions to the area before the appointment. You should also exfoliate the area 1-2 days before the appointment.
