Kirk is extremely knowledgeable on human anatomy and the role each skeletal muscle plays in biomechanics to create pain at each spot and movement. The Sports Massage he offers is not a stronger deep tissue, because it wasn't about the amount of force applied to the "knots". In fact, he uses a moderate amount of strength you would get in a deep tissue or less than a deep tissue, but following the muscle fibres' natural direction and ease out the tension. He also gave me a few exercises to strengthen my weaker muscles that induced compensation in surrounding muscles. He's amazing!

I have been with a very discomfort and pain on my lower back for months. Been in doctors and quiropractor to find out why but nothing really clear. After my appointment today I felt happy as we might know why is causing this pain and we have put things into perspective with a plan. I am so happy and I highly recommend the recovery room.

Vikki was so friendly and helpful. She made it clear I could indicate whether I wanted more or less pressure throughout the sports massage, which I did. I noticed an immediate improvement in my back, which I'd hurt while gardening a few days before. Really eased the pain.

I went to the recovery room due to a chronic pain I have been suffering with in my lower back and down my right leg for some time now. I had previously been seeing a chiropractor for 6 months however with no improvement seen or identification of the route cause during this time I felt physiotherapy was the route to explore. Vicky identified the route cause immediately and has filled me with great confidence that I now know what the issue is and how I can correct and treat it appropriately. I’m booked in again and will be using the recovery room moving forward.

A wonderful experience! I would highly recommend Jentle Therapies. The back, neck and shoulder massage was incredibly relaxing and helped release all the tension I had been carrying. Excellent massage and reflexology. It’s a lovely environment (I tend to feel less comfortable in home treatment rooms and thought the entente pics in the other reviews looked like a flat - but this is a standalone facility with its own entrance and feels like a salon). The massage table is epic - bigger than usual and with adjustable leg / upper body bits giving it a business class vibe! Jen is friendly and welcoming, and the reflexology and massage expertly done. You come out of there feeling taller and younger! Will definitely be back 😊

Had 90 minutes of the deep tissue + relaxing combo massage with head and foot work by Lee—and I actually fell asleep during the head massage. The stretching at the end is spot on, leaving your body feeling loose and balanced. Perfect mix, deep pressure for the knots, relaxing strokes for total chill. Shoulders loose, head clear, feet happy. 90 minutes of pure reset—definitely coming back.
