My time with Valerie is short, I am becoming so use to the waxing that I find it hard to believe that our session is over so quickly! Multi tasking is what she is good at because not only does she speak to you, but also makes you so comfortable that you even forget that I am even there to be waxed. The service at Parktown branch is excellent. Thank you Daphne. I have an issue with the aesthetics of the salon. The ‘retro’ aesthetic is very outdated and only caters to a particular demographic (white women). There are no images of Black women or any women of colour. To add insult to injury, there is a massive incongruent portrait of London. The aesthetics of the salon perpetuates the idea that only white women (from the West) get waxed. I would love to refer my friends to this salon but I feel very uncomfortable with doing so because I know they’d feel out of place.

Malusi was incredible. He did a perfect job trimming my hair ensuring an even cut all round. My beard was trimmed with surgical precision and I'm thrilled with the final result. The massage was great and sorted out all my knots whilst Malusi gave me some tips for stretching and better muscle health. All round 5 star experience, I'll definitely go again.

The best salon with the most friendly and experienced therapists, and passion for their job 🩷

Noise from generator, whilst understandable, was annoying. However Dina is a great credit to the salon.
