You must book with Ilona! I'm visiting London for work and have gone to see her for treatments 3 times. She is so good my husband and friend went to see her as well, and we all agree she is the BEST massage therapist we have ever seen. My husband and I are professional dancers and have terrible bodies; years of overwork and injury make us tough clients. We saw Ilona for deep tissue massages and she showed incredible understanding and knowledge of the body. She can somehow balance providing therapeutic "tough love" pressure and technique and a relaxing experience all at once.

A few days walking around London had left me quite sore and a massage was in order. I'm a massage snob of the highest order, and finding a good massage, with ready availability is a tough ask. Balance fit the bill, with online booking and availability that day! Once there, Alex, a capable and caring woman originally from Portugal greeted me with a glass of water. The rooms were nicely appointed, with adjustable table and heated pad. Alex gave an absolutely solid, deep-tissue massage, which was exactly what I needed. If I lived local, I'd be a regular of hers.

Absolutely incredible massage! Great service from start to finish. We had a couples massage fro my grinds 30th and they really impressed us. They provided champagne glasses for the Prosecco . Everything was neat, clean and presentable. Really lovely setting and venue. One of the best massages I have had in London so far. I will definitely be returning and try out the other services they offer.

I heard of this place through my PT and thought I would try the cupping massage as it is something I have always thought about doing but didn’t know where to go. The whole experience was great and my back feels so much better. Rohan was an excellent massage therapist, who made sure that I was never in too much discomfort for the cupping therapy as it was my first experience. Local or not to Islington I would highly recommend Dr Stretch if you have any back/muscle problems. They really tailor your appointment to fit your specific needs. I plan to be a repeat customer.

I’ve now had multiple sessions with David I originally came in with shoulder pain, and each session has been really helpful and well explained. David is professional, knowledgeable, and takes the time to make sure I understand why we’re doing certain exercises. I’ve already noticed improvement and feel confident in the plan moving forward. I’d highly recommend David to anyone dealing with shoulder pain or physio treatment in general.

Had a fantastic sports massage from Rohan. I was visiting London and was unable to run due to tightness building up in my calves and foot. I got a same day appointment and Rohan quickly identified the source of the tightness and after 45 mins my legs felt transformed! He gave me some good advice on stretching/warm ups etc. to avoid the issues in future. Nice to see a female-friendly gym. Great service all round.

I’ve visited Thai London on and off for years. Usually I would leave a 5-star review; bur today’s visit was actually only “okay”; got an additional star because my muscles definitely feel less tense! Previous visits have ALWAYS included hot stones; without asking. I had to ask and was told the “machine is not working”!!!

I’ve been to a few sports massage spots around King’s Cross, and this one really nailed it. The clinic is almost right next to the Underground station, and the therapist is very efficient. He’s also the founder, so he’ll make sure you’re well taken care of. Highly recommended. 👍🏼

This is my second time at Achilles in King’s Cross. The therapist kept releasing tight knots that I was previously unaware of. What I loved about this session was that the therapist was incredibly knowledgeable and explained where all the knots originated from. I can’t wait for my third session.

Excellent experience at MG Osteopathy & Sports Injury Clinic. I went in for dry needling and massage therapy due to severe neck and shoulder pain with very limited neck mobility. When I arrived, my pain level was around 9/10, and my neck was constantly aching. After just one treatment session, my pain dropped to around 2/10. By the next day, my neck felt significantly looser, more mobile, and almost completely pain-free. Highly recommend MG Osteopathy if you’re looking for effective physiotherapy treatment, dry needling, or sports injury therapy for neck and shoulder pain.

I had plantar fasciitis after running and the heel pain was really affecting me, especially in the mornings. I decided to try shockwave therapy and I’m very glad I did.
