I was visiting Phoenix and it was my first time going to Emg Barbershop. The barbers were all really cool and it was a nice atmosphere overall. Emajanae was awesome — super cool to chat with and gave me a perfect cut. Highly recommend her if you’re in the Ahwatukee / Phoenix area!

Alba was amazing! Wonderful haircut and style to trim damaged ends without sacrificing length. Will definitely return in the future for haircuts as well as color. Lovely salon and I highly recommend Alba as a stylist.

I cannot recommend Maria enough! I came in with a complicated color situation…overgrown roots, uneven blonde, and pink dye that refused to wash out. Maria listened carefully, reassured me, and worked absolute magic. She blended everything flawlessly and even gave me the exact side-swept bangs I asked for (which other stylists often avoid!). Every stylist nearby gasped at the transformation. I left the salon smiling ear to ear; confident, happy, and feeling like myself again. I’ve officially found my stylist!

Larissa is amazing!! Not only does she do a superb job with color; she gives me a beautiful haircut and a clean fade on my sides every time. That is only the start! Not only is she an incredible stylist, she is friendly, hilarious, and SO hospitable. I am absolutely pampered every time I see her.. She even shined my shoes! 😍 10 out of 10, I’ll never go anywhere else for all my hair needs!!!

From the moment I stepped into the building to when I got on the chair to get my haircut, Theresa was super friendly, professional, and was super communicative. I really liked how easy it was to book and how her form specified beforehand how I want our session to go (ex: sociable session, quiet, etc). I absolutely loved the experience. Her price is reasonable with everything that I got done today. I've always had "ok" haircuts but this was AMAZING. I totally cried from happiness Internally when she was done haha. I definitely recommend her and will be coming back and referring friends and fam.

I'm from out of town and needed a cut. I randomly picked Dolce, mostly because it is close to where I stay. I was paired with the stylist Mariah and couldn't be happier with my cut and style! She listened to me and gave me options. I'll be back for a color.

Second time seeing Alejandra. I live in Seattle and come down to Phoenix 3 to 4 times a year to visit my daughter. Alejandra did such a fantastic job the first time I had to see her again. At this visit she provided me a color consult in addition to my haircut. She also looked at my daughter's wavy hair and describe what she would do for a cut help the curls lay better. So next time I come down for a cut, I will also book my daughter for back to back appointments.

Natalia is absolutely the best with scissors and color I have experienced in Phoenix She is flexible and creative kind and nice. I strongly recommend her to anyone

I had a great first visit with Layered Locks LLC. Natalia is very warm and welcoming. We discussed my hair qualities and she proceeded to give me a VERY CUTE haircut with styling. As a newcomer to the area, she helped me navigate the Phoenix/Scottsdale area. I am very pleased, will continue to go to Layered Locks and would recommend them to anyone. Ashlee is a hairdresser I can trust I will always leave with a good result. From color to haircuts or extensions she is very knowledgeable and talented and knows what I need even when I can’t put it into words or don’t know myself. She also has the best personality and energy and makes your appointment enjoyable. She has a confidence in what she does that immediately puts you at ease which is super important to me after many bad hair experiences at other places that have given me some anxiety when it comes to my hair!

Theresa is not only talented with cuts and color. She is also a great listener who makes sure you have the haircut/look you had envisioned. She was very patient and she had taken the time to check my hair texture, lifestyle and personality. I'm so blessed to have "found" Chris many years ago. I always look forward to my appointments. I'm pretty boring, always have the same services and color but Chris nails it every time. My 2 daughters age 16 and 19 have also been going to her for many years. One daughter tried a friend's stylist a few months ago and said never again, we'll be with Chris forever!

Alejandra is a phenomenal hair stylist! She creates a space where I feel comfortable exploring new hairstyles and embracing my natural curls. She fosters easy communication and ensures you, the customer, are satisfied each step of the haircut. She is also a great teacher for curl styling and spends time personalizing the appointment. After researching a hairdresser who knows curly hair, I found more than expected. Haircut - A1! Then Alejandra showed me how to get lasting curls. I love the product line that she carries.
