Mark did an absolutely phenomenal job, I cannot recommend him enough! Not only did he completely fix what previous hairdressers had done very poorly, but he created so much shape and volume as well, and was incredible sweet. If you're thinking about which salon/stylist to choose, he's absolutely the right pick!!!

It was my first time not only going to Smooshine, but an Austin hair salon since moving. It was an amazing experience. The environment was beautiful due to the music, the location, and the aesthetic. I booked my hair appointment with Sam, and it went wonderfully. Not only did he deliver the haircut that I wanted, but he helped me understand why my hair was damaged and how to fix it. He offered a solution in the salon and an at home solution. He was very precise with my haircut, and made it a wonderful experience. This is the best haircut I have gotten!

Adrian was amazing! My partner had not had a proper haircut since 2019. He has never liked a haircut, today was the first time he not only enjoyed the experience but left LOVING his transformation cut. We will DEFINITELY be back!

I was seriously overdue for a haircut and I'm so glad I chose Adrian when I finally decided to book one. All of their infirmation and instructions on booking, location, etc., really helped with my neurodivergent anxiety. When I got there they took the time to talk with me about what I wanted done and they checked with me on length after the initial cuts. They also confirmed my selections from the pre-appointment form (fidget toys & low scent). It was an overall wonderful experience with a thoughtful, conscientious stylist, and I love the cut itself too. A++ experience.

I recently visited Smooshine Hair Salon and had an amazing experience! Sam Elamaireh was my stylist, and I can’t recommend him enough! Sam was very funny and knew exactly what he was doing. Absolutely wonderful experience. Got exactly the hair I wanted with exactly the atmosphere they had comfortable to me as an autistic person. This was honestly one of the best experiences I have had at a salon! I have been to other salons in Austin but never felt very comfortable or like the stylists particularly cared about my hair. I had a totally opposite experience here and I will definitely be coming back to Smooshine. Jacob was awesome! He was very attentive and thorough and it was just a super high quality haircut and experience. I appreciate the time he took to understand my hair goals, and to explain his methods and why he did them. I will definitely be recommending Smooshine and Jacob to friends.

Mark is not simply a hair stylist. He has expertly mastered the art of color blending and face framing. I have been a loyal client for over a year, and he always manages to do something better than the last. There is no one else I would trust with my hair other than Mark. I have seen countless clients flying to get into his chair from all over the world. He’s also worked in salons in London and Dubai, which has added to his experience. Just trust the process and Mark’s expertise. If he takes you on as a client, you are one of the luckiest people who get to experience his talent firsthand.

My haircut with Adrian was honestly the best salon experience I've ever had. It was awesome to get to book an appointment specifically for a curly haircut! There was lots of time allotted and I didn't feel rushed at all. Adrian offered many accommodations that made my experience feel relaxing and therapeutic - dim lighting, no music or small talk, lots of check-ins about what they were doing. I usually leave a salon feeling completely overwhelmed and overstimulated, and this time I left feeling more calm than when I came in! Not to mention I absolutely love my haircut. HIGHLY recommend them!!
