Mark did an absolutely phenomenal job, I cannot recommend him enough! Not only did he completely fix what previous hairdressers had done very poorly, but he created so much shape and volume as well, and was incredible sweet. If you're thinking about which salon/stylist to choose, he's absolutely the right pick!!!

Let me just say I LOVE my haircut. I rarely get one that makes me so happy. Jonny was so awesome! When I arrived, he offered me drinks and let me know where the bathroom was if I needed it. He looked over my appointment notes, explained my hair is pretty healthy but the parts where my hair was bleached was where my hair started to tangle. He brushed it out, made sure I was okay with how much length he recommended to take off. Gave me a thorough wash & gentle head massage. He looked at my reference photos as needed, cut, blowdried, and showed me how to style it at the end. Highly recommend <3

It was my first time not only going to Smooshine, but an Austin hair salon since moving. It was an amazing experience. The environment was beautiful due to the music, the location, and the aesthetic. I booked my hair appointment with Sam, and it went wonderfully. Not only did he deliver the haircut that I wanted, but he helped me understand why my hair was damaged and how to fix it. He offered a solution in the salon and an at home solution. He was very precise with my haircut, and made it a wonderful experience. This is the best haircut I have gotten!

I recently visited Smooshine Hair Salon and had an amazing experience! Sam Elamaireh was my stylist, and I can’t recommend him enough! Sam was very funny and knew exactly what he was doing. This was honestly one of the best experiences I have had at a salon! I have been to other salons in Austin but never felt very comfortable or like the stylists particularly cared about my hair. I had a totally opposite experience here and I will definitely be coming back to Smooshine. Jacob was awesome! He was very attentive and thorough and it was just a super high quality haircut and experience. I appreciate the time he took to understand my hair goals, and to explain his methods and why he did them. I will definitely be recommending Smooshine and Jacob to friends.

Mark is not simply a hair stylist. He has expertly mastered the art of color blending and face framing. I have been a loyal client for over a year, and he always manages to do something better than the last. There is no one else I would trust with my hair other than Mark. I have seen countless clients flying to get into his chair from all over the world. He’s also worked in salons in London and Dubai, which has added to his experience. Just trust the process and Mark’s expertise. If he takes you on as a client, you are one of the luckiest people who get to experience his talent firsthand.
