I recently visited this salon and had an amazing experience from start to finish. The atmosphere was warm, clean, and relaxing, and everyone was welcoming without being pushy. My stylist really listened to what I wanted and offered helpful suggestions based on my hair type and lifestyle. I felt heard and cared for the entire time. The actual haircut and styling were fantastic. They took their time, paid attention to detail, and explained what they were doing in a way that felt reassuring instead of overwhelming. My hair has honestly never looked better. It’s easy to manage at home. I love it!

I loved my haircut and blowdry - I literally showed Philomena a picture of what I wanted and she gave me exactly that and I am fussy!! I also got some gorgeous products from her as they made my hair feel and look so nice - also the most affordable hairdresser I have ever been to!! Thank you and I will be back!

First time visiting Anthony at his salon, as we have been looking for a new hairdresser. Myself and my daughter booked a consultation which was amazing. Anthony took time to chat through what we wanted/needed. For my actual appointment, Anthony was brilliant as he has a lot of experience with curly hair (my hair is naturally curly) which is so hard to find, and he worked with my hair to dry cut it into style as well as colour/highlights. He is the first hairdresser who has been able to do a great job diffuser drying my curls (I am nearly 40). Great price&will be my go to salon from now on. Liz

I’ve been going to Gemma for a while now and she’s fantastic. My hair looks and feels great after every visit. Gemma's really friendly and the salon is lovely. After spending ages looking for a good hairdresser, I’m so glad I found her.

After a terrible experience elsewhere that left my hair in a disaster and the wrong color(s), I was lucky enough to find Nicky and what a difference! She is truly a specialist who knows exactly what she’s doing. Not only did she save my hair, but she also transformed it into exactly what I wanted. Since then, I’ve become a regular client, and I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my hair now. Thank you so much, Nicky! Always a pleasure visiting Philmak Hair. The ladies are soo professional and I always leave so happy. Nadia is such a lovely lady and amazing braider. So gentle and polite. This is the only salon for African hair/braid in Middlesbrough that i have had the best experience with. I definitely recommend. Will be coming back soon. Thank you ladies
