I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to The Hair Studio. Tasha was so attentive and is very experienced with hairdressing! My natural Afro hair was in a bad state when I visited the salon (tangled and thirsty) but after adding some tailor made treatment to my hair, trimming and blow drying it was shiny and bouncy. I had a wonderful experience with Hazja! I have long hair and often come away from the hairdressers disappointed as nobody notices its changed. Hazja made lots of thoughtful recommendations and thoroughly restyled my hair while shaping around the face and adding many layers in the back whilst keeping it long. She finished with a wavy blow dry and I came away feeling like a movie star, haha. She is also a delightful person; I would recommend this salon highly.

Not only do you get a haircut with an experienced, professional hairdresser but you’re also the only one in the well ventilated salon. I had my curtain bangs cut into a full fringe. The stylist throughly looked at my hair and explained why the cut wasn’t working for me as I have had trouble styling it myself. Tasha is an amazing hair stylist she is efficient, friendly, courteous and very very professional. Whenever she does my hair she treats it as if she is doing her own hair. I’m always welcomed with a smile, no waiting around which is fantastic. If I book an appointment for 2pm this is the exact time Tasha will start doing my hair. this is my fourth time at the salon and I really wouldn’t trust anywhere else to do my hair, all the staff make me feel incredibly welcome and comfortable every time, and the atmosphere is always really good, all of the staff have a great sense of humour and all co operate amazingly well. The atmosphere was so relaxing, the hair stylist (sorry forgot her name!) was so polite and kind and really took good care of me! She gave me the best head massage and really looked after my hair. I am so so happy with how it looks and feels! Would definitely recommend! Price wise: its actually cheaper than most salons, but unlike other salons your hair actually looks amazing when you come out of Shirley Valentine!

Had a very great experience today in the salon just like the last time. Chloe is very kind. She complimented me on my progress and asked me if I had any questions or concerns. She was very engaging throughout the entire appointment and she was more than happy to answer any further questions or confusions i had. My haircut was so perfect. I’ve retained a lot of length in just 3 months and my hair is coming together nicely with lots of volume. I recommend partnering with her 100/10. Just amazing through and through.

Once again, another amazing visit with no complaints! All staff were warm & welcoming as per. Great atmosphere. Debs knew that she was going to change up the style of the cut slightly before I had even asked "what should we do with it". Because she knows what's best for you hair & I always trust her with the process. I know that I am 100% in the best hands, and that goes for the other staff who handle my hair during my appointments. I always look forward to attending the salon & just being in an uplifting environment.

Had a cut and blow dry with Peter today. Peter is an excellent hairdresser, very knowledgeable and gives great haircare advice. His salon is peaceful and you have his undivided attention. I highly recommend him and am looking forward to my next haircut.
