Best nail tech ever! Briony provides a calm atmosphere in the salon, always helpful with what you need to select when booking in and gives you brillant aftercare advice for all of her services. AND this girl give my nails life from having no nails to having them in just three sittings she’s amazing at what she does! And she keeps her word any broken nails she will fit you in and fix no other nail artist do this free off charge honestly god send she is!

Absolutely incredible. I was first little reluctant to switch my beauty therapist due to unavailability but I have no regrets. I chose Mindful massage with Courtney who was professional and absolutely delightful. The treatment itself was probably the most relaxing experience I've ever had. Thank you, will be back again soon! Jess was lovely during my non surgical treatment, she explained the procedures well and made me feel really comfortable and relaxed. The salon is beautifully decorated creating a calm and relaxing feel. I am very pleased with the results and would definitely recommend, thank you Jess!

Leg massage with the lovely Jess, I suffer with my legs having lymphedema and sometimes need a massage, I feel that they came out two sizes smaller, not heavy as usual and walked out with a bounce in my step, none of the ladies show any judgement to any of their clients whatever their condition, top Salon wouldn't go anywhere else thank you

Customer care and customer service is always 1st class here. You feel relaxed as soon as you go into the salon. I tried the new Luminant facial, and it surpassed expectations. It was not only a lovely facial, that includes your hands, but possibly my favourite so far. My skin looked fabulous afterwards, and was glowing! Thank-you Carol.

Been going to this salon for last 3 months Laura is excellent. Very friendly and great at her job, previously went to same hairdresser for past 20 years now happy to stay at Skins & Needles.

Lovely catch up with Elle for new nails in her salon. Always a relaxing time, guaranteed

Highly recommend she’s a great edition to the beauty and therpy industry. She’s polite respectful and a spotless work environment. I would only advise to be respectful and build a relationship with purple rain beauty as her practice could have unbelievable benefits and it’s a relationship that you only struggle to find in this industry she is a secret gem Like I say I highly recommend the practice and I’ll be a regular customer until she retires

She explained the treatment with more than enough information, which gave me the confidence that she was very knowledgeable with these treatments. My experience at Phil Mak Salon was wonderful, Philomena knew how to do my hair very well, she is an excellent hairdresser who knows what she is doing, l got a blow dry, trim and braids using my own hair, she did a fantastic job, and the atmosphere in the Salon was great, they are nice people as well as excellent hairdressers

Incredible salon with fantastic people doing great work. This was my first ever retwist after having free form locs for 10 years, Kiki looked after me good! Trimmed my locs to a manageable length for my lifestyle and got me looking fresh with a retwist. I’m surprised it took me this long to find someone who works with dreadlocks in the Teesside area! If I’m looking for a style I’ll be here again in a heart beat. Philomena has a lovely salon and great atmosphere, she even popped in for a chat and to let me know I can use the iPad to watch my series while I get styled. I highly recommend!

Absolutely fabulous afternoon.My daughter had her hair braided with a different colour in a few of the braids.It looks amazing.Nadia did a fantastic job.She has done my daughters hair 3 times and eventide comes up with different ideas.The atmosphere in the salon is fun and relaxed but remains very professional. Philomena was in the salon trying out new products i think she always on the look out for new ideas .Totally recommend this salon for every age group female/male.

Philmena was amazing! She's friendly and really takes her time to work with your hair. She so professional and really takes her time to explain the products/techniques shes using so you can replicate at home. After struggling to find a hairdresser in the area who is confident to cut curls, I won't be going anywhere else in the future and would highly recommend this salon
