I’ve been struggling to find a stylist in Pittsburgh ever since I moved here 1.5 years ago. You’d think a short straight chop bob would be easy but I guess not! All that changes at Hairsmith! She identified what needed to be done to give me the cut I want and fixed a really gnarly haircut I had before. I’ll be coming back for sure!

It took me 20 years to find a salon at home that knew how to cut Asian hair. So when I needed to find a Pittsburgh salon who did that, I was very hesitant. BUT Ash is GREAT!! Helpful to have a reference picture. He matched what I showed in the picture perfectly, and he made sure throughout the haircut that it was what I wanted. Will be doing my annual haircut here!

Brandy is awesome at cutting my unforgivingly straight hair. She always leaves me feeling fresh and looking polished. She also has a great presence. It’s easy to sit and relax while she does great work, with or without a lot of conversation. I recommend her highly!

Alexis’s space is beautiful and she is professional and warm and very easygoing. I never felt comfortable going to a noisy big salon. I really love the vibe she creates. I also love the products Alexis uses and my haircuts are always perfect.

I went in to get a pixie cut, which is the shortest style I've ever gotten. Brandy was honest about what my hair could do (I have fine, thin hair), and was able to come up with a style and cut that looked great. She even encouraged me to let the cut settle for a few days and come back in if there were any issues. I ended up coming back in to shorten the back and she did it free of charge. She's clearly very talented and I would recommend her to anyone who wants a great haircut! It's not even been a week and I've already gotten a bunch of compliments.
