Deya is the best! I have thick hair and I was worried about if KMB Studio didn’t have texturizing shears, but thank goodness I asked! They have shears to help thin your thick hair out if you don’t want to deal with a puffy lion’s mane especially with Chicago’s humidity lol! 🦁😜 and the conditioning mask made my hair feel soft and less frizzy! I have naturally short and straight lashes, which present challenges to curling. Nonetheless, Lara was able to curl them very beautifully with a lash lift. She defied my expectations and I am very happy with how well the lift worked.

Karina Ponomarenko is the absolute BEST!!! I recently moved to Chicago and was nervous to try someone new, but I have had the most amazing experience. Karina is so kind, flexible with scheduling, and easy to reach out to. I DM her on Instagram and the appointment is booked within minutes. Her new salon is beautiful with a great location, as well. I definitely recommend Karina and will continue going back to her for all my hair needs :)

As always the service was great and has always been good which is why I return. However, I just want to say, when you are being serviced and your technician and fellow employees are speaking in their native tongue (which you can't understand) and they are laughing it becomes an uncomfortable environment for the client.

I live in Nevada now, but since finding Jess I wait to return to Chicago because I can’t go to anyone else! Watching her cut almost seems like a lesson in geometry, she makes sure to follow my wishes, and the results have always been more than 5 stars in my opinion! Plus she’s a lot of fun to talk to. Chair Hair Imports is truly an experience. I came from out of town and searched them online and I’m so happy I did. The environment of the salon was so inviting, beautiful, and the stylist really made the experience. I was able to get an appointment and the service was amazing. Will definitely keep them in mind and even visit next time I’m in Chicago because we’re besties now.

Kayla is amazing as usual! She cut, washed, blow-dried, and straightened my hair. (Which by the way is super long, thick, and curly) She's so welcoming and is always smiling. So easy to talk to and is a vibe every single time. She knows what she is doing and I trust her with all my beauty needs. My hair is always in great hands with Kayla. What I love most about her, is that even on her off days or when she is fully booked, she is willing and ready to accommodate her clients. I just love her and her team overall. They are all great especially for girlies with my type of hair! 10/10

I had my hair done at Studio 84 One for my wedding celebration dinner. The stylist was very efficient and the result was great. He advised me to wash my hair in advance to save time because I was under time pressure and updo took only 35 minutes for my mid-length hair. Highly recommend.
