Loveee!! Carmen is amazing and makes you feel so comfortable. I am fully converted to waxing from shaving, and it only gets easier every session! I was blown away by the results after my first wax, and continually blown away for WEEKS until my next appointment. I am so glad I started coming to Carmen!

Amazing as always! Carmen is super funny and it takes away from the fact that I’m lying there naked getting hair ripped from my skin. I’ve also never felt judged with Carmen, which I’ve felt at past waxing places. Fastest and most thorough wax ever!!

First time going to Body Politik, had a great time. Carmen was so friendly and quick to answer any questions, and the experience was as smooth as my results :) (pun intended). My one small question (that, in fairness to them, I didn't ask at the time), was if there is a little stool to help me hop up and down from the table - it was a bit high!

Always a 5 star experience. Clean, friendly, bright atmosphere. The hot rocks leg massage near the end of the pedicure is my favorite part! I like all the technicians too!

Queenie was terrific. She’s always conscientious and checking in to make sure my nails are exactly the way I want. I wanted a seashell theme and she really paid attention to my inspo pictures and worked with me to get a similar look. My nails definitely have a wow factor today. Rose is very sweet and friendly. She gives great leg massage and does a great job removing my calluses. My toes look great!

This was my first time visiting Upscale Nail Studio and it won't be my last. The experience from start to finish was top notch. Everyone was polite, attentive, and the services were excellent. The space is very nice with a relaxing atmosphere. I had eyebrow shaping, upper lip wax, and a Lux pedicure. All were excellent. Neda and Aida both did an excellent job and I am so impressed with the service.

Koko nails has been my go to place for nails in burnaby and Vancouver over all. The quality of the nails last a long time and the styles are always perfect! This is the best nail salon in north burnaby! Queenie and the staff at this salon are professional and very friendly and clean!

I know Heather squeezed me in today , during her lunch time so I could get a half leg wax before my vacation. She regularly goes above and beyond!

Super kind and efficient, I had a great time and my legs are all soft. Will definitely go back there for my next wax.

Great foot and leg massage

Heather is the absolute best! She was able to add in a second service for me while I was getting my original service done. Multi tasking for a full hour to leave me feeling beautiful at the end. Can’t recommend her and the spa enough.

Heather is so wonderful! I've been to see her before a number of times myself but I took my daughter in for her first wax yesterday and Heather was great with her - explained everything, made her feel comfortable and of course did a great job.

My service was good itself but just a few notes. I could hear the other employee loudly ranting about something in the other room for about half of my treatment, she sounds like she was going through a lot an I have empathy but also people go to the spa to relax and unwind so maybe a good idea to be aware of how noise carries in a small space. I was also really put off by the auto tip options going up to 45% on your sale terminal, I always tip but found that suggestion pretty alarming, especially given that the prices for my treatment have gone up.

Mia did a great job and I loved the leg massage.

Service was smooth and friendly, making me feel right at ease. The room’s calm, relaxing atmosphere could easily lull you into a peaceful nap. Highly recommended—I’ll definitely be coming back!
