I have never had my makeup done professionally before and I am so glad that I went to Sarah. She was so patient and understanding with me. Being an older lady she listened to what I thought I wanted and tried to make me feel at ease. She explained what she was doing and said that she would make sure that when I left the studio I would be happy with the makeup she had applied. She did a great job and I would highly recommend her. Many thanks for the great experience. Hopefully see you soon.

After 15 years living in Edinburgh I finally found a place where I can truly take care of my skin and body. I always feel welcomed here—the beauticians are kind, attentive, and highly professional. Weronika, the owner, is amazing: skilled, knowledgeable, and honestly a total badass 😎❤️. This time I had waxing, eyebrow shaping, and a vacuum massage. Everything was done with top-level professionalism, and I even received a little Christmas gift, which was such a lovely surprise. I highly recommend this place. Merry Christmas! 🎁🎄

Lovely salon. Loved my makeup and the whole experience. Left feeling very glam (but not overly made up if that makes sense!) and will definitely return and recommend.

I have used Paulina twice for my makeup and she is amazing! She did my wedding make up in the summer and party make up today. I really feel she understands what I would like and I always feel at ease. I will definitely use Paulina for all future make up!

Paulina was fantastic! She asked questions about what I wanted at every stage and did exactly what I asked. The makeup stayed on all day and I had many compliments on it! Looks great in photos too.

Honestly can't speak more highly of Simmy/ Makeup and Beauty Bar! I've been getting lash lifts here for 2 years and always get beautiful results. I feel so much better about myself once i've left the salon. The website is the best i've seen from any salon, Simmy has obviously spent much time explaining the procedures she offers in detail which is really appreciated. Sammy was lovely, she explained everything in detail about getting lash extensions and the aftercare for them. She made me feel really comfortable, it’s a long process but it was so chill and relaxing. My lashes look amazing, I love them so much! They feel so natural not like strip lashes at all which I was nervous about beforehand. Would 100% recommend Makeup & Beauty Bar to friends.

My lash lift and tint is stunning - as always. i never usually leave reviews but had to this time. Simmy puts her heart and soul into her job, making sure customers are happy with the service and ensures her work is completed to the highest of standards. The prices are affordable an her warmth and kindness shines through the moment you step into the Salon - which is a beautiful space, I also really appreciate the aftercare advice which was explained in a clear and concise way.
