Best Hair Salons near me in Union Street, San Francisco

I usually go to the Greenwich establishment, today I was in the Union Street establishment. My stylist was absolutely marvelous. The gals that were in the shop with her were also extremely friendly and accommodating. I would recommend this salon to anyone at any time. The level of customer service and talent are over the top. Based on my experience Adrien is the best hairstylist in San Francisco. Hands down. Your hair will still look fantastic weeks after he does his magic. That’s a sure sign of talent and skills. I have trusted Adrien with my hair for years and never once looked back.

We tried many salon in the past and everywhere but we found Adrien in SF! More than 15 years with Adrien! Always professional and so friendly …🙏💙 He is so talented… the best hairdresser in SF! The cut is perfect and the single process color too! We are driving more than 1 hour and Half each way to meet Adrien who knows perfectly what we want! Do not hesitate to book .. in advance!

Sho is a great stylist for guys as well as girls. He really cuts my hair so that it best fits the shape of my head specifically. Nothing is out of place after his haircuts.

Kerrin, the owner, did a fabulous job giving me a haircut! It was my first haircut since last July. She listened to exactly what I wanted and made me feel like $1M. Couldn't be happier and I'm glad I found a new hairdresser I can trust :)

I got a great haircut with Shanna! She pays attention to details, is quick but not at the expense of quality. I’ll be back! A little about COVID haircuts: She also washes hair, something not all salons are doing during COVID. Everything was clean, we wore masks, the door was open and we were the only ones in the salon.

The haircut was great, which is most important. Also, the salon was nicely, decorated and comfortable. Finally, I’m not generally someone who likes to talk a lot during the haircut, but I did end up talking because he’s very personable and easy to chat with so it felt very natural. Great haircut and great experience.

Friendly and welcoming experience for sure. Sho made the long process of lifting my hair from black to a gorgeous purple/blue/teal super easy. It was so relaxing I highkey almost dozed off a few times. Thank you for the haircut, color, and the food (sorry my hair took so long to lighten!); couldn't have asked for a better stylist especially for my first color and bleach.

I went in for a haircut, something simple and felt feeling beautiful! I was well taken care of by my stylist Nielle. Not only was she kind but extremely knowledgeable, she listened to what I wanted and executed it perfectly. It can be intimidating going somewhere new with someone new but I felt seen and safe! I will continue to come to David James with Nielle for all my hair needs! Plus, the staff were extremely friendly and the salon was clean and beautiful!
