I live in The Hague, and was looking for a good hairdresser who would cut short hair. Going to Amsterdam for that was worth the trip. Konstantinos is amazing, very professional, and also a lovely person. I highly recommend Coup d'état, beautiful salon, great people, great job on haircut. And shampoo on the massage sofa is one more plus to the experience. Now I know who's my hairdresser in the Netherlands

​Lea is a 3c/4a expert! I went for a big chop to remove BTX damage, and she was so empathetic, carefully feeling the texture before starting. She did a meticulous dry, curl-by-curl cut, perfectly executing the soft, feminine face-framing I wanted. She truly appreciated my natural ash blonde colour and even gave me a natural chamomile tip to maintain the tone. Despite being busy, she went above and beyond, ensuring my hair was 100% dry before I hit the Amsterdam cold. A celebratory, professional experience—I felt in such safe hands! 🪷

I’m new to NL and was struggling to find a good hairstylist given my hair is tricky to cut and manage. Luckily I found Nathan - he knows what he is doing and had a game plan to restore my old hairstyle, after all the bad cuts I had elsewhere in Amsterdam. It’s still a work in progress but I trust Nathan will get my hair back to its former glory. And as a bonus - he’s a very nice guy to chat with too!

best hairdresser in all of amsterdam! roza makes a haircut feel like a whole outing and makes you feel right at home and completely taken care of. i honestly felt like a celebrity the way she looked after me and for such an affordable price too. roza really goes above and beyond! absolute gem of a hairdresser, so glad i found her <3 i will be recommending her to everyone, especially those who have complimented my hair so far, which has been a lot of people! thank you so much roza, i will definitely be back!

It was genuinely the best haircut i ever got. You are first greeted warmly with coffee, tea, or water. For my haircut Zaina really listened to me and what I wanted and gave me exactly the advice I needed. They styled it in two different ways until it did the hairstyle justice and even gave me advice on how to keep up my hair looking the way it did at the salon. Best haircut I ever received in Amsterdam. Or ever!

Amazing service!! I have curly hair and most hairdressers in Amsterdam dont know how to blowdry it. Mayke did an amazing job. She is also sincere and wont try to sell you more. I asked for hair coloring and she advised me not to do given how damaged my hair was

Isa is een fijne en prima kapster in een prima zaak! Tot op heden so wie so een fijne ervaring, ook met Ram! Een authentieke en onderscheidende zaak met bijzondere kapsters. Maar wat is de reden dat het voorgedeelte van deze bijzonder ingerichte ruimte ineens is veranderd in een toeristen shop, al overvloedig aanwezig in Amsterdam? Jammer!
