Maximize client reviews with Google Rating Boost
In this guide, you'll learn how to enable Google Rating Boost, to encourage clients who leave positive reviews on Fresha to also post them on your Google profile.
What is Google Rating Boost
Google Rating Boost is designed to enhance your visibility and credibility on Google by encouraging clients who leave high ratings on Fresha to also share their review on your Google Business Profile. When clients leave a rating for your business on Fresha, an extra step will encourage them to post the same rating on Google.
Before upgrading, make sure the Thank You for Visiting automation is enabled, either via email or text.
Set up your Google Business profile
You must have an active Google Business Profile for each location on Fresha.
- Start by creating your Google Business Profiles if you haven't already.
- Confirm that the name and address of each location on Fresha match those on your Google Business Profiles.

- Once selected, click on the Confirm button in the top right corner to finish setup.
Once enabled, clients who rate your business on or above the review trigger you have set will be prompted to extend their review to Google.
We’ll match your location to your Google Business Profile using your business name and address. Double-check the Google review links to ensure clients are directed correctly.
How Google Rating Boost appears to clients
When clients leave a review for your business and their review rating meets or exceeds your review trigger threshold, Google Rating Boost will appear as an extra step for them.
- After a client writes a review for your business, they will see a prompt inviting them to also post their review on Google.
- By selecting the Continue to Google button, the client is redirected to Google and asked to sign in with their personal Google account (if not already signed in).
- Clients can choose to copy their Fresha review text or write a new one for your Google Business Profile. Once ready, the client can click Post to submit their review on Google.
Once a client posts their review on both platforms, it will appear publicly on your Fresha marketplace profile and your Google Business Profile.
