Manage blocked time types
In this guide, you’ll learn how to create and manage blocked time types to manage breaks, personal time, or admin tasks in your calendar.
Create a new blocked time type

From the main menu on the left, go to Settings.

Select the Settings tab and click on Scheduling.

In the left menu, select Blocked time types.

Next to Blocked time types, click the Add button and enter the following details:
- Type: Enter a title and select an emoji to represent the blocked time type (e.g., Training or Coffee break).
- Duration: Use the dropdown to set a default duration.
- Compensation: Choose whether the blocked time is Paid or Unpaid.

Click the Add button in the top-right to save.
Once added, the new blocked time type will be ready to use when adding a blocked time to your calendar.
Edit or delete blocked time types

From the main menu on the left, go to Settings.

Under the Workspace settings category click on Scheduling.

In the left menu, select Blocked time types.

Next to a blocked time, click on Actions and choose one of the following options:
- Edit: Update the details of the blocked time including the Type, Duration, and Compensation.
- Delete: Permanently remove the blocked time type.
