About Electronic Commercial Documents
Electronic Commercial Documents are digital records of sale required by the Agenzia delle Entrate (AdE) as part of Italy's tax reporting requirements. Once enabled, Fresha automatically creates one for every eligible sale and securely submits it to the AdE through a certified provider, without the need for a fiscal printer or additional hardware.
Before you begin, you'll need:
- An Agenzia delle Entrate (AdE) account
- Your Fisconline PIN and password. If you don't already have them, you'll need to request them through the AdE. Your initial password and PIN digits are issued by the AdE and can take up to 10 days to arrive.
During setup, you'll be asked to renew your AdE credentials, even if they're still valid. The AdE requires your initial Fisconline password to do this. Renewing your credentials starts a new 90-day validity period, allowing Fresha to remind you before your credentials expire to keep your connection active without interruption..
Set up Commercial Documents
- From the main menu on the left of your screen, go to Add-ons.
- Under Integrations, click on View under Electronic Commercial Documents to open the integration details.

- Click on Set up now to begin the setup.

- Review the required information needed to sync to this integration, and click on the Continue button in the top right of your screen to proceed.
- Enter your business details, making sure they match the information registered with the AdE. Then click Continue in the top right.

- Renew your tax authority credentials by clicking Renew my credentials, which takes you directly to the AdE portal. Once you've renewed them, return to Fresha and click I've renewed them to continue.

- Enter your renewed AdE credentials to authorise the submission of Electronic Commercial Documents from Fresha to the AdE.

- Click on the Confirm button in the top right to finish connecting your account.
Once setup is complete, Electronic Commercial Documents will display an Active status. Commercial Documents will then be created automatically for eligible sales, and you can view and print them at any time.
