Suedey Hairdressing

Located on historic Woburn Walk in Bloomsbury—a frequent backdrop for film and TV period dramas—Suedey is an elegant, light-filled hairdressing salon dedicated to enduring style. The salon's approach focuses on tailored care: taking time to understand each client's individual taste, hair type, and lifestyle before applying modern cutting and coloring techniques to create flattering, long-lasting looks. The name carries a unique origin story. At age 18, Creative Director Mark opened his first Liverpool barbershop and named it after his favorite Morrissey song, "Suedehead". Shortly after, he discovered the term actually referred to a 1970s buzz haircut. Naturally shortened to "Suedey" (pronounced Sway-dee), it became Mark’s nickname and ultimately the brand's title.
