Lumecca is the most powerful intense pulsed light (IPL) to treat pigmented and vascular lesions.

During your Lumecca treatment there will be a bright flash of light and a slight prickly sensation. Redness and a slight warming of the skin are normal and usually subside within an hour. Due to the light intensity of the treatment, it is recommended that direct sunlight and tanning are avoided for 2 weeks after treatment.

A patch test and consultation must be carried out, minimum of 24 hours prior to receiving any laser treatments to determine whether a person is suitable to undergo treatment.

Lumecca IPL (Pigmentation & Redness)

A 15-minute discussion of skin concerns, suitable treatments, packages, costs and aftercare. This introductory appointment does not include a full skin analysis.

£20 consultation, paid in full when booking. After attending, the £20 is deducted once from your first treatment within 90 days; we can extend this if treatment needs to be delayed. If you choose not to proceed, the fee pays for your consultation. We refund it if we assess you as unsuitable or the clinic cancels.

Contact us at least 24 hours before your appointment for a refund or to transfer the fee to a new date. With less notice, or if you do not attend, the £20 is retained; we consider emergencies individually. Contact the clinic for refunds or if Fresha will not let you rearrange. These consultation terms take priority over our general deposit terms. Applies to new bookings from 9 September 2026.

Laser Consultation

A consultation and patch test must be carried out a minimum of 24hrs prior to receiving any treatment to determine whether a person is suitable to undergo laser sessions. Any adverse reactions will mean a client cannot receive laser treatments.
• Clients cannot have laser treatment on a particular area if that area has recently been exposed to sun without the protection of an SPF 30 cream.
 • You must not wax or thread the hair in the treatment area, have electrolysis, use a depilatory cream or bleaching cream. The area must be shaved on the day of, or the night before you receive the treatment. 
 • Do not use sunbeds, do not sunbathe, do not use tanning cream. 
There are certain conditions and medications which would render you unsuitable for treatment. Please feel free to contact the clinic to discuss this further, although all details will be confirmed during the consultation process.
