This massage is often assumed to be about pressure on muscle but we believe differently, this is about thorough and informed contact, interacting with areas of pain and mobilising linked areas of the body. We slow our pace and explore the area applying vigorous work where required. It’s not about depth of pressure but more about applying the right pressure.

DEEP TISSUE MASSAGE

MASSAGE TREATMENTS

Our consultation is an integral process of our Sports Massage therapy, it is the base from which we build the structure of your programme. In general we allocate a 30 minute session to better understand your body, your needs and desired outcome. The consultation will involve a medical questionnaire and assessments carried out by our therapist, this may include removal of some items of clothing specific to the area of work, postural analysis, range of motions tests, palpation and skin to skin contact.

There are some medical conditions that we cannot perform massage on a list of which can be found on our site.
